  We were in need of a moving company to and my wife found Pan Transit Vanlines online. They didn't identify themselves as a moving broker. The salesman was aggressive and pressured my wife to sign a contract that day. We were given a price for cubic feet, gas surcharge, and packing materials. We were given a binding estimate. Here is where deception comes in. The binding estimate was added on top of the agreed charges and was not an estimate of the total price. It is the broker fee. The moving charges were just over $5,000 and the binding estimate was just over $7,000. The broker fee was MORE than the move cost. Yes, we signed a contract with a full fee of over $12,000 but the "binding estimate" is deceiving and is not explained as a broker fee. When calling the company to complain "*********" pretty much said "too bad you signed the contract". She accepted that the "binding estimate" was actually a broker fee for finding a mover and scheduling. $7,000 for just that. When we said we would never have agreed to it if labeled a broker fee instead of a binding estimate, she said "Too late!" Like we got you and there is nothing you can do about it. She just reiterates that we should have read the contract. She is right however that doesn't mean their business practices are ethical. They are adamant that their tactics are legal even if designed to trick the customer. When I called the ***** they said the binding estimate should not have been added on top of the moving cost, and if it was a broker fee it was extremely high. When we told ********* we would be filing a complaint, she was giddy. She state they are governed by the ***** and everything they do is legal. She stated she replies to the BBB complaints and absolutely nothing will happen to them. The company is 2 years old and has 64 complaints. Only positive reviews here are for moving companies they hire. Avoid Pan Transit and go directly to carrier because Pan Transit is not your mover.

  Spoke with a rep when I first enrolled and said I can cancel any time just would bee a fee... went to cancel and now they say no refund just can put towards a 2 year move if I want to move. Not right that they keep our deposit or use it to force use to use them. they are not even movers they hire 3rd parties... I didn't sign up for that

  Anyone wanting to have these guys help you out? Please for the love of God dont. They lied and scammed us from the beginning. I spoke with 5 people from this company to make sure the money was correct on what we were paying from the beginning and end. Still have their information and what we agreed on. We were supposed to pay $3,400. They sent me an email saying they would come by look at my things and we will pay the last amount which would be the rest of the $3,400. Guess what they did. Came into the house, looked at my things which werent a lot and said we needed to pay an extra $9,600!!!! What!? Ya, that happened. I looked at them in shock and told them get outa my parents house, were done here. They even came in a big Enterprise moving truck so they apparently dont have their own fleet. I was in tears and had to get a U-Haul moving truck to drive to ******* from ******** next morning. These people are scammers and one of the worst people in the world. Please dont use these guys.

  We put down a $1000. deposit for a move from **** to ********. Our plans changed and we did not end up needing a moving company. My husband called and we were told the check would be delivered in 2 weeks. When it wasn't, I called and was told check processing takes up to 21 days. I called after this and was told it would be 2 weeks to send the check out. It is unbelievable to me that a large company cannot get a refund out A. when they say they will and B. any faster than 5 weeks? To reimburse a $1000. deposit we were told was easily refunded if plans changed? This is terrible customer service and shows how little Pan ********************** cares about their customers

  A crew of seven arrived with a custom-built wooden crate for our grand piano. They spent nearly 2 hours securing it, using 60 feet of bubble wrap. The 12-hour move across the state was smooth, and not a single item among our 300-piece inventory was misplaced.

  I hired this company for my household goods and vehicle in October 2023. The broker contacted a different broker to move my vehicle and l signed the contract for $2350. It somehow went to 2 more companies, and they tried to extort me for more money. It has been 6 months and l have lost my vehicle. I know it (or the license plate) is in ***** because l got toll charges from Harris County. I have contacted every law enforcement l can, and my insurance company. No one can or will do anything because they have an illegal contract that says they have a contract to have the car. I'm 69 years old and disabled. How can they do this?

  Pan Pacific transit is a scam!!! They took $2k of my money to make a phone **************** told me that not a cent goes through the move. They keep every cent. I paid $2k of my hard earned money thinking that they would take care of me. Additionally, they said *********************************************************************************** $25 a day to store. Then the movers hired local movers to deliver my stuff and they broke my TV and wanted a Big Tip. As result, the movers got into a fist fight because I didnt tip properly and the driver got paid more than he should but didnt pay the movers. Bottom line Pan Transit took 2k of my money that was not applied to the move. Total SCAM.

  They also put itemized lists outside all boxes and crates so unpacking wouldn’t be a hassle for us. They kept us updated of the progress during delivery and ensured we received everything on time. We would hire them again in a heartbeat!

  Before they could safely lower the couch from my balcony, ******* staff wrapped it in blankets and tied it with furniture straps from top to bottom. They easily completed the task that not even the packing was ripped. I wholeheartedly suggest these!
