      The interstate relocation proceeded well thanks to AmeriSafe's careful delivery, meticulous packaging, and specific services for fine art. Although we're happy with the outcome, communication around arrival windows may be better.

      The greatest choice I made for my move was to choose AmeriSafe Moving Services. Throughout the entire process, their crew was really helpful, well-organized, and on time. They made sure everything got to my new house securely by handling my possessions with the utmost care. Their expertise and attention to detail were really excellent.       I received an initial quote for $2157.88 to move a 2 bed 2 bath apartment worth of furniture from ** to **. The price seemed really good so I went with it. After having booked the service, I saw many reviews online that they would purposely provide a lower quote just to land a job, then the actual moving company would end up charging more than twice as much for the service when they show up to start the job in question. I brought my concerns to one of their employees and he assured me that was not going to happen to me, and that I could trust the company. Spoiler: the scenario where I end up paying more than 2x the quoted amount was exactly the one that ended up happening. The moving company showed up and wanted $2300 MORE than the original quote. I expected to have to pay only $400 more for the additional packaging services I requested on the spot, not the 2x increase from the quoted price. The difference came from the calculated square footage (which is the very thing the reviews I saw warned against. They do this a lot, apparently).When I called the Amerisafe representative to explain the situation, he hung up the phone. All of this happened exactly as other users have said in their own reviews, step by step. You have been warned.
