As any business, if you have an emergency, its palm beach obligation to a paying costumer to let them know if you are unavailable. I contacted palm beach two weeks straight and no response. I set up a dyno day, on their request, and no one shows up, no response. No update nothing. Im not sure why they expect me to just be like oh its fine especially after losing 1500 just sitting on the dyno which I didnt mention about when we did briefly talk for reimbursement. I followed palm beach steps in making a appointment, then they also jump to conclusions saying I schedule on the same day without verifying, i made the appointment a week prior as they sent me a link and told me. Now they are trying to blame me is crazy, pier called me and said they made a mistake and so they acknowledge they were wrong. Then after a few hours later, the tuner, his name **** randomly responds and says we are no longer going to tune my car And once I started a refund, they will not give me my money back. All this started because the tuner koby disappeared 2 weeks just to randomly come back and say he was in ******. So he had time to respond to Instagram, about returning, but no time to tell a paying customer. He had an emergency. They've been saying they were gonna call me back. And now like previously no one is answering the phone. So realistically Palm Beach has stolen and robbed me from money And refusing to pay back because of a made up policy. my car is still untuned, and sitting in the driveway. This is the most unprofessional Mechanical shop, I have yet to experience. And by far my worst. I hope everyone reads thid and avoids business with this company. Because I am not the first and it won't be the last.Initial Complaint

I purchased a remote tuning session for my truck on June 26th. The contract I signed stated I would receive my initial tune in 2-3 business days. It took 4 no worries there. I data logged the vehicle as requested, and sent the log. I was supposed to receive a revision in 1-3 business days and Ive yet to receive this. Ive attempted communication with the company with no success. So Ive spend $350 dollars and still have a vehicle I cant drive.Initial Complaint

Let me start by saying, palm beach at one time provided great service. The reason today for the complaint is that i have called several times and keep getting the run around about my retune file. I have spoken to ***** on numerous occasions and was ensured i would be taken care of. Normal turn around time for a response is ***** hours. Not over a week. i also purchased some parts from them on 5/6/23 those parts were never shipped in the 3-5 business days that was advertised as well. Instead of them reaching out to let me know the machine that 3D prints those parts is no longer working. They say they have parts on order and no ETA on when the parts would arrive. I then requested a refund which ***** begin the process on. More importantly i expressed over a week that i have a event coming up and i needed to have the car running in tip top shape. The assured me it would be escalated and everything else, i was even told that *** himself would be tuning the car, Still no response.Initial Complaint

May 25 2022 I bought a tune for a 2011 **** Mustang from them for the amount of $565.00 It is now September 20 2022 and I don't have a usable tune for the car. Yesterday I got a email telling me the they no longer tune ***** **** superchargers because of issues they have with them. As of yesterday ***** **** was still listed in there drop down for one they tune. After swapping a few emails back and forth ************************* said he does not have to refund the money i payed or tune my car. I will try to include the last few emails and the copy of the payment I made. While Palm beach Dyno was ignoring me I was forced to go with a competitor to get my car tuned and it runs very good.At this point I would be leery to load there tune in my car.Business Response

The customer purchased an electronic computer file for his vehicle. We provided the customer with the requested file and we also provided support back and forth via logging and sending additional files. The customer was never ignored and was answered promptly and professionally within our 24 to 48HR allotted time frame. We are a professional tuning company that has thousands of happy customers all over the world. And we do anywhere from ******* cars a month without issue.
The last correspondence previous to this was july 20th 2022. The customer had emailed in logs of the vehicle exhibiting it running pretty well with no real major issues. I replied to the customer and he never responded until monday sept 19 2022.
In his latest response he apologized for not responding in a timely manner as it has been a few weeks since we heard back from him. We informed the customer that at the end of Q4 2022 we would be halting support for new customer orders for his specific supercharger but since he is already a customer we would be happy to continue to support him and finish up or resolve any remaining issues. The customer's next email to us, he became irate and stated we are hack jobs and rip off artists and was very offensive and insulting to me and the rest of the staff and began demanding a refund. I informed the customer that per our refund policy once the file is sent and loaded into the vehicle there are no refunds as we cannot get our product or time back for support. The customer was made aware of this previous to the purchase and it is also clearly documented on our website under the following link below.
https://www.******.com/Returns_df_10.html
Even after the customer was very rude and offensive we still assured him we would be willing to help and support him since he was already a customer. He then emailed back once more calling us names and making offensive comments to us. We have since not heard from him until this BBB filing. The customer, still to this day, would still receive help and support from us if he so chooses it. We are more than happy to work with him and resolve any remaining issues he has.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
First let me say that there is no doubt that Palm Beach Dyno is a top notch turning company. They probably do 600 to 700 cars a month unfortunately they are having problems doing my car and since I have got my tune they have quit tuning Kenne bell superchargers. The reason I was absent between July 20th 2022 is September 19th 2022 is because I signed on with a different tuner. He was able to tune my *************** five emails and the car runs great. Palm Beach Dyno was struggling with the same car. On September 19th I sent them my latest datalog and that is when I was told that they no longer do Kenne bell superchargers. I have yet to get a revision from that datalog that I sent them.I am going to copy and paste the e-mail I sent that they claim that I got irate with them. You will see that I never demanded a refund . I merely stated that if they couldn't tune the car that I would gladly accept a refund . I will also send you the previous e-mail from them stating that 90% of the Kenne bell installs are hacked which I believe it's totally not true.
This is ***************************** e-mail to me.
Sincerely,*********************;(Palm Beach Dyno)

Were cutting it off after Q4
We did alot of ***** **** for a long time. And now, they are so few and far between, plus PLAGUED with BS issues. And its not worth my time anymore unfortuantely. I have nothing again the KB stuff but this is the cost of doing business.
I do 100x the *** or ******* cars we do compared to a KB. The ******* stuff will make more power and so will the ***. 90% of the KB cars that come through here are hacked together, s***** installs and full of issues. Its not cost effective for me to spend 4 weeks dealing with a car and trying to help them.
Your car id be happy to finish up since we took it on.
If you have some sort of an issue you need to log and send it inThis is how I responded to *************************

This is the latest startup tune that I have. You being a professional tuner should see what's the matter with it. If you don't feel you can tune this car then I would gladly take a refund.
Since I was getting exhausted trying to get a good tune from you I went ahead with a different tuning company. They had no problems tuning this car.
This car is one of the finest round and it is by far from being hacked together. Please don't blame people's cars for your inability to be able to tune.
At the time that I purchase his supercharger ******* had already stopped making the Gen 4 superchargers and I think in my humble opinion that the Gen ***** do not look right on an S197 and ***** **** assured me that Palm Beach dyno could do the tuning. As a matter of fact at that time Palm Beach dyno didn't have any superchargers on their website.
Just because you don't like ***** **** superchargers does not mean that they are bad you're just one person in a sea of rip off artists.
Maybe you should learn how to do your job like others have learned. Could be the hackers are at Palm Beach dyno. And this is how *** responded to that

Im gonna give you an oppurtunity to recant that last email
i dont have to give you a refund and i dont have to help you
if you want to give me that kinda attitude youre not gonna get either from me
Maybe you should learn some common courtestyAnd this is how I responded to that e-mail
**********;(*****************)To:************************ Details
You haven't helped me and you haven't gave me a refund ether.
You should learn some common courtesy. While you at it learn how to tune.
All you have done is take my money. I don't expect anything out of you because you don't know how to tune ***** **** superchargers.
In my opinion Palm Beach dyno was ignoring my emails I sent a log to them on the 8th of July on the 18th of July I posted on their customers ******** page a question asking about the way my tune was running. This was my question to the other members of the ******** page.Could somebody please help me with this log. This is my cold start log that I sent to Palm Beach dyno two times. The last time I sent it was on the 8th. ************************* is the person that's tuning it. My setup is a stock 5.0 with ***** **** 2.8 supercharger with kooks 1 7/8 headers. Does anybody know what could cause a cold start like that. Thank you
This is some of the responses that I received.

*********************;is that being fixed? My dad sent an email about his truck and have not heard from you in over a week
This is t my first go around with waiting or tuning. Ive got three vehicles going on and all are behind which is not normal, but things happen. My dads truck tunes seem to take about a week to get***********************
*********************;I got your email with the revision in it. I didn't have time to try it today but will make it top priority tomorrow. Thanksthe next morning I had an e-mail with the revision in it and although the car ran better it was still off.
Palm Beach Dino states that they are still willing to tune my car on the 19th I sent them a log they still haven't responded to it. if they can't tune the car I'll gladly accept a refund. I do get their policy though.
Thank you

If the customer is not willing to work with us to resolve any issues there is nothing we can do to help.
Unfortunately our refund policy states there is NO refunds after the initial file is sent. That remains the same today.
There is no refunds on electronic files sent. Customer is aware of the policy and is trying to subvert it.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: first I hope and pray that everyone in the ******* area is doing well with all the storms.I am more than willing to work with Palm Beach dyno and getting my car tuned. On the 19th of September 2022 I sent them my latest datalog for them to look at. I have yet to get a response from that datalog. That is when they told me they no longer tune my brand of supercharger. There is nothing I can do if they won't answer my emails.
I am aware of their return policy but they are having issues tuning my car. The car is in tip top mechanical shape with a Kenne bell factory supercharger with no modifications done. It also has a set of kooks long tube headers.
In closing as a reminder they have my latest datalog and I have not received a revision yet.
Stay safe
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: good morning, I've waited to reply to this e-mail in order to see what Palm Beach Dyno was doing. On October 20th 2022 they sent me a e-mail saying that they were gonna work on it the following week.
On October 25th 2022 they sent me a basic tune to start the car with. I installed it and did two or three data logs for them and send it in. On October 27th 2022 I received an e-mail from Palm Beach Dyno asking me to give them a short driving log which I did that day and send in. It is now October 31st 2022 at 9:39 AM in the morning and I have not received a revision yet.

I am rejecting this response because: as of November 9th 2022 at 8:13 AM my 2011 **** Mustang GT is not properly tuned by Palm Beach dyno. On Monday November 7th 2022 we were having some good correspondence on working on the car. ************************* seemed to like what he was seeing at his end but what I was feeling on my end was different. There is a spot in the throttle that the car seems to die and take off at around **** RPM's especially noted and third gear. I have sent a datalog and an explanation of what I was feeling and so far no response. One more thing I feel worth noting being in November we are having exceptionally nice weather to be able to do logging with unfortunately in the northwestern part of ************ winter hits and according to the forecast at coming this weekend so I guess what I'm trying to say is we're losing our weather and I was hoping to have had this car fully tuned by now.
I have no way of knowing what is going on at Palm Beach dyno if I e-mail them asking I get put to the back of the list so there's really no sense in me sending them an e-mail, it would just make the process longer. Like I've stated before I've tried calling the company with no answering of the phone both Robs phone and Kens phone.
Sincerely,
