I noticed a charge of $5.95 taken from my checking account from a company I never dealt with in July 18th ****. Then the next day I was charged for ***** from the same company. I called the number associated with the charge and was told I supposedly filled out a surgery from an email I received opting to enter a sweepstake drawing to "possibly win" an Ipad. Why would I pay to fill out a survey????? Doesn't it work the other way! Then they said with that, I now have a membership to be paid monthly but could not tell me what the membership was for or even how to use. And I'm supposed to pay each month. I finally got them to cancel the membership with a cancellation reference #. But they would not give me a refund unless I call back with my bank branch on the line.... I asked to speak with a supervisor and they said there is no one else. They gave me 3 different store names - Factor Gadget Direct - Factory Direct Savings Store - Comete Dreams Simple of Now I have to close my back account due to the fraudulent account.

I received a Ring-type of doorbell as a free gift with only a shipping and handling charge ($7.95) attached to an order I allegedly placed (I cannot remember what it was, and there is no credit card transaction for the date of the s&h charge). One week later a charge to my credit card appeared in the amount of $67.43. I called and emailed the company on 6/29/23; the call did not go through, and the email generated no response. I tried again on 7/10/23 and finally got through. The customer service rep transferred me to their fraud department. The woman explained this was a membership charge and it would appear monthly. I told her I did not sign up for any membership. She insisted I did and stated she would file a fraud claim. At that point, she made it clear (several times) that they would check the ** address of the order and I would be subject to a fine and possible charges for falsely filing a fraud claim. She then said she would refund $33.72 and discontinue any additional charges. The merchant on my credit card bill is DailyNoveltyStationery ********** NY. She told me that was a merchant number not a phone number (and yet, that is the number I used to reach her). She then told me her company was Factory Direct Savings and not Daily Novelty Stationery, and the membership is good for all of their stores. I do not participate in any membership clubs, and I certainly did not agree to Factory Direct Savings. This is definitely not a legitimate company or ethical company policy. I am looking for a full refund of $67.43 with no further charges.

I was just looking at my bank statement and saw a charge that I had no idea what it was for. I scrolled down and found that I had been charged ten times for $67.32, plus an initial charge of $5.74, for a total of $678.94. I called my bank and was given a number associated with the charge. The phone number when to a company that represented 30 different companies. They found my charges. I asked for the name of the company charging me, which they gave--the Factory Direct Saving Store. I asked for a full refund. They said that they could only give me a 35% refund from the last payment ($33.66). I said No, I want a full refund. He upped the refund to 50% of the last payment. I said No, I want a full refund. He said that was the best he could do. I said OK. and am trying to contact Factory Direct for a full refund, because I had no idea that I was getting into this scam. I WANT A FULL REFUND! The man said that they sent me discount coupons or something via the internet. I saw no such emails. I WANT A FULL REFUND OF $645.28. Thank you. PS--The phone number that you give for the company does not work.

In March 2022 I foolishly responded to an online add to purchase a WiFi booster for $7.97. There must have been fine print I did not notice agreeing to pay a monthly fee for access to an online gadget store. When I noticed the charges I called and cancelled. I offered to return the WiFi booster as it did not work anyway. They agreed to cancel the subscription going forward only. Then a new monthly charge under a different name began hitting my account for $39.93/month. I did not notice for a few months and the description on my account statement is "GLAMOURSTOP" so I thought it was some product I bought while traveling. When I noticed the same charge hitting every month, I called. It took 3 phone calls before they could tell me what company/service was. At first the call center said it was a fitness app; but finally they said it originated with Online Gadget Store. My cancelation #C291794135 cancelled the January charge and supposedly stops charges going forward, but they said there is no head office or supervisor who can help with reversing prior month charges and I have no idea what the monthly charge "provided." This is obviously a complete scam and the monthly fees are truly for nothing! I would be incredulous if there is even one satisfied customer who believes they are receiving any value. I would like the $39.93 monthly charges for ***** through December refunded ($359.37 total) as the January fee only has been cancelled "as a courtesy."

Janurary5th and 8th I agreed to pay **** for shipping to recieve a *****. They say it was for a entry into a sweepstakes. That's not what was stated in their e mail. I am guilty of not reading the whole trms and conditions. They charged me another ***** for a subscription to there company. When I called wanting to cancel and get my money refunded they said I couldn't because it had exceeded 3 days. They have me a fraudulent email address saying I could get a voucher and buy product of their website. They are scammers and fraudulent. I would like my ***** back. They can keep the **** I agreed to pay for shipping. Even though that was a lie and a scam also.

Received survey after getting items i ordered from a reputable company. The survey was for the shipping company. Took the survey and as a gift, select from list of products below just pay shipping. No purchase required. Cool, found the item I liked and ordered it. FREE, JUST PAY SHIPPING- TOTAL $7.95! Sweet! A day later the $7.95 came out of my account, a week later $63. Came out of my account. Go back and read through the ***** I am now getting charged a membership fee to a company I cannot contact. I finally reach someone after 3 attempts and over 90 minutes on hold, and it is a 3rd party answering service for the mystery company Factory Direct Savings. I did pay shipping on a sweepstakes opportunity and I will be receiving $150. in coupons for said company. I want to cancel my membership, they say I can do that. I ask for a refund for the over $70 and was told they could only give me a 1 time courtesy refund of 35%. And no there is no number to reach the company directly ?? ??
