Daughter broke the screen of her iPhone 11. Ubreak store in ******* ** fixed the phone for $166.00. After about 1 month, the screen began to separate from the phone. About 1 week ago, I brought the phone back. the technician suggested the phone was dropped again and I needed to pay again. I indicated the phone was not dropped and this appeared to be a defective part. After a *************** with the tech, I contacted the customer service phone number, as my warranty is for one year, the customer service rep assured me they would make things right and made an appointment for a different store, approximately 15 miles from my house. I brought the phone and explained the situation again, although they were aware. After several hours, the technician from ****** called and left the message I attached to this complaint. He summarized in person saying that he felt in his opinion that the phone pet was indeed defective and there was no indication the phone was dropped, based on everything he saw. He said the break was too clean for it to be a drop. I asked if he can put in writing and he said I would need to pay for that as a work order. He also said he was not a coorperate store but a franchise so he couldnt help. He said ******* should make good for the defect. I called customer review and explained again and the once again assured me it would be taken care of. They guaranteed a 24 hour call back and that did not happen. Now my daughters phone is not working anymore and I believe I will now need a new phone. The phone worked totally fine when I brought it to both ******* and ******. Therefore, I would like Ubreak to buy me a new phone for not honoring their own warranty!
