    Innovative Partners has not paid doctor bills for the past year. Multiple doctors for myself and my wife have requested payment dozens of times. Phone calls result in a runaround requesting bills to be sent to the same address previously sent.I will not call again, my attorney will start with a letter. He will arrange any part we can play in lawsuits already in existence. Depending on the response to the letter or lack there of, a suit will be filed including claims of bad faith, mental anguish, economic damages and punitive damages.

    On 7/1/2025 I purchased a plan for insurance, the plan is no such thing and. Was lied to and deceived by the seller into buying this plan and is does nothing and is a scam from the moment I purchased it

    In December of 2023 I was p***aring to leave a W2 job with top tier insurance through *****. I went through the process of researching *** plans through covered ********** and began completing online forms. I started receiving many phone calls. One of the calls was with Innovative Partners. I had about an hour long conversation because I was V**Y thorough to make sure that I was going to get the coverage I was familiar with. I wanted to make sure if I had to go to the hospital for a major surgery or if I had to go to the ** that I would have a deductible and everything would be covered. The sales *** made it very clear that the plan he had to offer would give me the same coverage and that I would pay a deductible and the rest would be covered. I signed up at the end of the call. Flash forward, I went to the ** 7/31/24 and 10/25/24. Assuming I would have the coverage I was promised, I had a huge pit in my stomach when the medical bill came back over 40k. I then found out that the coverage I was told I would have was a complete lie and that the insurance I was signed up for was terrible with little to no coverage. I had the health care provider on a three way call with Innovative Partners support to try and figure out why the medical charges hadn't been paid by insurance. It was obvious that they were using avoidance tactics to not pay saying that the bill was sent to the wrong address and needed to send again to start the process over. I reached out to Innovative Partners 3 times asking for a copy of the sales call from December 2023 because I knew what I was told and wanted to have a copy as evidence, but was denied access. That's when it was clear to me that they knew they had committed fraud and didn't want to cooperate. I have since reached out to the department of health and started a criminal investigation because I know based on reading other BBB complaints that I am not the only one that has been defrauded. I'm seeking the resolution of my bills being paid.

    I expected that Innovative Partners LP would not give a legitimate response as I can see on the hundreds of other responses they have used the same complaint.


    I am rejecting this response because: Innovative Partners LP has failed to address the deliberate misrepresentation of medical insurance coverage by their sales department in December 2023 when I signed of for medical insurance.

    After receiving medical care at the emergency room in 2024, I expected to have a copay as discussed with the sales department, BUT what I didn't expect was that there was essentially no coverage and was billed for tens of thousands of dollars.

    In the past with prior employer insurance I have gone to the emergency room for urgent care and paid at $250 co-pay and the rest would 100% be covered...and used these examples with the sales department to be very clear that I wanted to make sure I had the same coverage as thats what I needed. I was told that I would have the same coverage by their sales department at Innovative Partners LP.

    I called into the support team at Innovative Partners LP and requested to have the call recording and was denied access. Sadly I had to take matters into my own hands and reached out to the department of insurance to pursue a criminal investigation.

    It was made aware to me that there is already an open criminal investigation and that my case would be included in the investigation.

    Here is the resolution I am seeking...
    Since finding out I was lied to and the I was sold coverage that didn't align with what was promised (no where close)... I cancelled insurance with Innovative Partners LP and got real coverage.
    The resolution I am looking for is to have my medical bills during the time of coverage from Innovative Partners LP to be paid by Innovative Partners LP. If Innovative Partners LP can pay for the medical bills that they said would be covered by my insurance plan when I signed up then I will no longer participate in the open criminal investigation being pursued by the ************************

    I am rejecting this response because: I have not received any communication from Innovative Partners LP. They claim to have documented attempts to make contact. Please show me these documented attempts because I have not received any emails, calls, texts, voicemails. I have sent an email to ********************************************************************************** as this was provided in a prior response. In my email I provided the same information that I provided in the complaint filed on BBB and have received no response to that email. I just sent another email before responding here asking to be contacted.

    As stated in my prior response, I am seeking a resolution of having my medical bills paid for by Innovative Partners LP due to the fact that I was mislead and lied to and told that the medical care I received would be covered with the expectations I explained and it turned out to be almost the complete opposite with practically no coverage. This intentional misleading needs to be addressed and resolved. I am currently participating in an open criminal investigation against Innovative Partners LP alongside other victims which is being led by the ***********************. I will no longer pursue this criminal investigation if my medical bills are paid for and resolved in a timely manner.

    I am writing to formally demand the immediate cancellation of the fraudulent policy you enrolled me in and a full refund of the funds withdrawn from my bank account.I was blatantly misled and lied to when I was told your company was affiliated with Covered **********. This is completely false! your organization is not part of Covered California, and I would have never agreed to sign up had I known that truth.Not only did I never request dental insurance, but the only materials I received from you referenced dental coverage, something I did not ask for, need, or agree to. This further confirms that I was set up with something I did not authorize.I have made multiple attempts to cancel since the very same day I enrolled, and you have made it intentionally difficult and frustrating to get in contact with anyone. Your agents hang up the phone, lie, and give conflicting information about the cancellation process. After finally speaking with someone today, I was told my cancellation is being processed, only to then receive an email stating you submitted a cancellation request. something I had already verbally demanded and attempted to do repeatedly.Let me make this absolutely clear:I am NOT requesting cancellation. I am demanding it. I do not need or want your services, as I am already covered under my own medical insurance. I have received zero services from you, and your so-called 30-day no-questions-asked cancellation policy has not been *********** are engaging in deceptive, fraudulent practices, and I am prepared to dispute the charges with my bank, report this to the Department of Insurance, and pursue legal action if my cancellation and refund are not processed immediately.Again, I expect:Immediate cancellation of any policy you claim I am enrolled in.A full and prompt refund of the money taken from my account.Written confirmation that this matter has been resolved.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I had to fight hard for myself just to pry a basic confirmation email stating that my fake, misleading policy was finally terminated. They refused to send anything at first and only did so after I repeatedly insisted and demanded it. I was never refunded by them, and I ultimately had to file a chargeback with my bank to get my money back. Throughout the entire process, I was forced to constantly threaten their unprofessional and disrespectful so-called cancellations department just to get even the bare minimum of acknowledgment. The entire experience was deliberately difficult, dishonest, and manipulative.

    I was trying to get health insurance and it was on Covered California I googled it and called number they gave me a quote and when I spoke to them it said I was speaking to someone from cover ********** and once I gave them my card number to get health coverage they withdrew $239 from my account and I got one email saying it was innovated partners and I got multiple emails this morning saying that I cant get insurance. They are trying to scam me with more money. And my payment was submitted they keep trying to withdraw money I had to block my bank card from them scamming me more.

    I called a number yesterday that I thought was New York State of Health. As it turns out, they are a scam company called Innovative Partners who are scamming a lot of people according to a legitimate **** representative I spoke to on the phone this morning who recommended I file this complaint because it happens to many people who think its a proper health insurance company. They charged my card $292.85 and at that point I told my bank to cancel my card. They make you sign forms online while youre on the phone with them. Im obviously very naive and now they have a lot of my personal information for identity theft. Theres an article on this fake company I found online saying buyer beware. How is this scam company allowed to operate? Its criminal. Heres their email and phone number ******************************************************** **************

    I retired in November of 2024 and needed health insurance. I enrolled in Innovative health, however the medication I am on was not covered and I would be out of pocket over $5000 a month. This was all done in less than a weeks time. I called to cancel my plan due to no coverage on my medication and they said they would cancel and send a refund. However less than a month later I was charged again. I have called several times to address this and everytime they tell me they will send a refund. It never happened. I just called again, but this time a lady told me because I didn't cancel until after 30 days, which is NOT correct, I canceled that same week I joined that insurance company. I told her I canceled that week, however their employes did nothing. On January 13 they took $612.87. I can't find the exact amount I payed in November of 2024 but it was close to $712.00. I never used any service, this all took place in a 5 day period, but they still have approx $1200. of my money. Please help me or advise me in any way to help. Thank you, **** ******

    If you're considering using Innovative Partners for health insurance, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. In my experience, they are a no-solution company that only leads to endless frustration.Ive spent countless hours on the phone with them, only to be met with scripted responses that go absolutely nowhere. The representatives often seem uninformed and incapable of providing real help. If you're told you'll be connected to a supervisorgood luck. You'll either get hung up on, or be told no one is available.Heres whats worse: my doctors office has contacted them multiple times for pre-approvals. We've gotten the pre-approvalsonly to have claims denied later under the excuse that the services arent covered. Trying to track down or verify the phone call? Forget it.This has happened across dental, vision, and regular health visits. I truly believe this company is designed to make things as difficult as possible, with the goal of wearing you down so you give up. All their responses are generic and lack ***************** sharing this because I dont want anyone else to fall into the same trap. As I write this, I expect zero resolution from thembut if even one person avoids signing up because of this warning, its worth posting.

    I am rejecting this response because it leads right back to where the complaint begins, a phone number or email to contact them and then I am right back in the frustration mode. They are more than welcome to contact me or give me a number to reach a supervisor directly. 
    Again this is more for other people looking them up on BBB, and making a better choice with another insurance company. If you dont then prepare to have fun going nowhere when you have to call in and deal with them loosing all your information. 
    Hopefully someday, they will get their act together.

    While I appreciate your acknowledgment of the situation, my issue remains unresolved. Although you state that Innovative Partners does not market or sell insurance or health plans, your company advertised such coverage, which led to the charges for my sons **************** policy.

    I have already sent numerous letters with complete documentation supporting my claim and have spent many hours on the phone with your representatives, all without any resolution or assistance.

    Multiple representatives confirmed that the insurance policy was canceled on July 19, 2024. However, you altered the cancellation date to March 12, 2025 without my sons knowledge or consent, which I believe is neither legal nor ethical.

    I respectfully request that Innovative Partners promptly process the refund of $2,307.18 (plus additional interest and penalties until paid off) to resolve this matter without further delay.

    Thank you for your response, though I must express my deep disappointment with the ongoing mischaracterization of the situation and the use of what appears to be yet another generic, cookie-cutter reply. This is now the second such response Ive received, and neither has addressed the actual details of my claim in a meaningful or personalized way.

    Contrary to your assertion, I have made every reasonable effort to communicate and resolve this matter. I have responded promptly and clearly at every step, and I have documented numerous outreach attempts ~ including emails, certified letters, and formal submissions ~ without receiving any timely or substantive responses from your team. To now suggest that I have been uncooperative or unresponsive is both inaccurate and unacceptable.

    Each time I call your support line, I am left on hold for over an hour, without reaching a resolution. As a working professional, I cannot continue to jeopardize my employment by repeatedly stepping away from work to chase a resolution your organization has consistently failed to provide. I have attached and re-attached the necessary documentation on multiple occasions ~ what more information could you possibly need?

    I filed this complaint with the Better Business Bureau only after exhausting every other reasonable avenue of resolution. I remain open to resolving this matter, but I now require a sincere, direct, and solution-oriented response ~ not further delays, deflections, or empty statements. The breakdown in communication has been entirely on your end, and I will not allow this issue to be dismissed without proper accountability.

    I urge you to thoroughly review the full correspondence trail and take this matter seriously. I expect a clear, and Professional path forward and timely resolution without further obstruction.

    Dear BBB Team,

    I am writing to express my confusion and concern regarding the recent closure of my case (if that is what is happening now?). I responded as instructed and provided all the necessary documentation and communication history in a timely and thorough manner. To my knowledge, the company in question did not provide a meaningful or direct response to the issues I raised.

    I do not understand how the case could be closed without proper acknowledgment of my concerns or resolution from the business. All the information they needed to address the matter was submitted multiple times, and I fulfilled my responsibilities in the process.

    I would appreciate clarification as to why the case was closed and whether there are any further steps I can take to ensure this issue is properly reviewed and addressed. I value the role the BBB plays in supporting consumers and hope this can be revisited.

    I signed up for health insurance in January and immediately canceled it because I thought it was a yearly charge not a monthly charge. I've been sick and had have somebody doing my bills. I just looked at my bill and they've been charging me every month I canceled it in January with my credit card and with them and they said they have no record of that. I'm disabled and live on a fixed income and this has caused me emotional distress it's over $1,500 they charged me and I never used their services. And they're telling me now that they can only refund one month of $262.85

    January I disputed the charge for the health insurance and got it refunded so the insurance should have been canceled then because I didn't pay for January which was the first month of the health insurance
