The salesperson told me something that was not true, and the contract language is vague, which led me to believe what the salesperson told me. I was misinformed and the company refuses to ***** me any type of refund. I got scammed out of over $500

My husband and I followed our doctor when he moved over to MDVIP after being our primary care doctor for two years. I had just been diagnosed with A Fib and liked the fact that I could contact my doctor 24/7. I am sorry that there are people out there that have had a bad experience with the plan but for us it has been a life saver. As a nurse I knew what questions to ask and what to look out for in a medical practice. My doctor and his staff have far exceeded what I wanted in a team. When we decided to move to another state due to my health, I was able to remain as his patient even though I am 2,000 miles away. We fly back once a year for my physical and spend time with friends and family while there. When I have a problem or just a concern, I text my doctor and usually within a few minutes I hear back from him. I have taken pictures of issues I am dealing with, such as a rash, and he sends in the needed meds. We are going on 10 years of being a patient with him and I truly can say he and his staff are here for me for whatever and whenever I reach out. There are always bad apples no matter what aspect of life you are talking about but I for one am a big fan of MDVIP and what it stands for. Medicine the way it was meant to be practiced, for the patient. Being able to talk with my doctor about all my concerns and not worrying that he still stop me and say time is up or make another appointment to discuss this issue because insurance said only one problem per visit. To me, my doctor and his staff are a part of my family. And as such I appreciate and love what they do for me every day.

I wish, I read the reviews before purchasing this plan. Before signing up I spoke to a representative of the company. My 65th birthday was a few months away and I was skeptical of joining because I would be eligible for ********* The representative told me several times if I didn't use the services I would be refunded my entire down payment. Needless to say that was not true. Buyer beware! Take the time to read the fine print or take the advice of these reviews and stay away.

Do NOT use this service. My Dr. and his staff were great but he retired and decided to cancel my membership mid-year. They are telling me I have to pay for the remainder of the year through **** even though I have already paid for the first half of the year and have cancelled. A total ripoff.
