IN SEPT OF 2024, RODENTS WERE GETTING INTO MY HOME. I HIRED INNOTECH TO GET RID OF THE RODENTS. THERE WERE TWO YOUNG GUYS WHO CAME OUT AT LEAST 5 TIMES. AND RODENTS CAME BACK EACH TIME THEY CAME. FINALLY, THE MANAGER ***** CAME OUT ON THE THIRD TIME. HE BUILT A CRAWL SPACE DOOR AND TOLD ME TO GIVE HIM WHAT I COULD AND NOT TO TELL THE YOUNG GUY WHO WAS WITH HIM. I GAVE HIM $100. ITS OBVIOUS THAT HE POCKETED THAT MONEY FOR HIMSELF. RATS CONTINUED TO GET INTO MY HOME. HE SENT THE YOUNG GUYS OUT AGAIN. (WHO CLEARLY DIDNT KNOW VERY MUCH ABOUT FINDING THE SOURCE OF WHERE THEY WERE GETTING IN) I HAD TO SUGGEST WHERE THEY MIGHT BE GETTING IN, AND ALSO HELP CLOSE UP SOME AREAS. THE LAST STRAW WAS WHEN HE SENT THE 2 GUYS BACK AND THEY PUT FOAM IN ABOUT 10 VENTS THAT HAD HOLES IN THEM. THE AIR VENTS AROUND THE HOME IS THERE SO THAT THE HOUSE CAN BREATHE. IT IS BRIGHT ORANGE, LOOKS HORRIBLE AND RATS CAN ACTUALLY CHEW THROUGH IT. I WAS CHARGED 500.00 ON 1-23-25. RATS CONTINUED TO GET IN. I FINALLY HAD TO LET ***** KNOW HOW DISPLEASED I WAS. SO HE CAME OUT AND RAN A SNAKE CAMERA THROUGH AND AREA THAT SHOULD HAD BEEN DETECTED FROM DAY ONE. IVE HAD 6 RATS ENTER MY HOME FROM SEPT 2024 UNTIL HOPEFULLY THE LAST ONE IN FEB. I REQUESTED HALF OF MY MONEY BACK INCLUDING HALF OF THE MONEY FOR THE DOOR HE BUILT FOR A TOTAL OF 300.00. I LEFT A TEXT 2 WEEKS AGO ASKING FOR HALF BACK. ***** SAID HE WOULD REIMBURST THE MONEY TO ME, ON FRIDAY I ASKED AGAIN. HE SAID HE WOULD CHECK AND GET BACK TO ME. I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN IT AND HE HASNT RESPONDED. THANK YOU!!Business Response

Hello. This is a brief review of the history of service at this client home:
9/16/24 - We received a phone call from Ms. ******* stating she had a rodent issue in her home. A technician stopped by to set traps and inspect. Both the technician and Ms. ******* agreed that the issue was a crawlspace door that was in complete disrepair. In fact Ms. ******* stated that she has seen cats and rodents going in and out of the door on previous occasions.
9/19/24 - I met the technician at the home and rebuilt the crawlspace door and placed two rodent bait stations on the rear of home for Ms. *******. She incessantly complained about not having money so when she asked how much for the work we had done I told her it was usually $350.00+, but since she was low on money I simply stated just pay what you can, she gave me $100.00 for the work.
10/11/24 - Technician stopped by spoke with Ms. ******* and she reported no new activity since 9/19/24. Technician also checked and rebaited the rodent bait stations on the exterior of the home.
1/2/25 - Client reported new activity in the home. Tech visited to inspect and set new traps. Based upon that inspection the technician found several other openings in the crawlspace vent areas where protective screens had failed. These were previously hard to see due to dense foliage growing close to the home foundation.
1/11/25 - After conversation with Ms. ******* we agreed to seal up the additional holes for her. Normally we dont work on weekends but because she kept stating how fearful she was of the rodents I sent out a crew on a Saturday to seal up the openings they had found. We charged $500.00 for this work.
2/17/25- Client asked us to refill the bait stations once more. We did that free of charge.
2/18/25 - Client reports new activity so we set new traps and a tech inspected but couldn't find any new openings.
2/20/25 - Client called me upset about the rodent issue. She accused me of being racist and not helping her properly because she was a black woman. She also made several other erroneous statements attacking my character personally and the company as a whole. Despite this I offered to come out personally and do yet another inspection which I did on the same day. After an hour of looking at the home foundation I found an obscure area where there was an opening. This area was blocked from normal view due to an addition on the house. We used materials in the yard to temporarily seal off the area.
2/21/25- Client caught one rodent in the home.
2/24/25 - Client sent a text complaining that she had to redo some of the temporary sealing. I asked her to send a picture of what was done, I did not receive anything from Ms. *******.
2/27/25 - Client sends text stating that she would like 1/2 of her money back. Although I did not think this request was appropriate given all of the work we had done I agreed and told her I would start the process for a partial refund.
3/7/25- Ms. ******* sent a text asking about the status of her refund. I stated to her that I was currently traveling for a funeral but would check when I returned to the office.
3/9/25 - On Sunday the 9th I received another text from Ms. ******* again inquiring about her refund and in this message she stated she would wait another week to hear from me or she would take other measures to get her refund, this threat was completely unwarranted but I did not respond
3/10/25 - Ms. ******* apparently filed a claim with BBB
In summary we performed an extensive amount of work for Ms. ******* for not a lot of monetary compensation and as far as I can tell we have solved her problem which can take time when you're dealing with rodents and such. Thanks for reviewing.

WHEN I FIRST CALLED INNOVATIVE 2 YOUNG MEN WERE SENT OUT. THEY PUT A BAIT BOX DOWN AND TWO TRAPS IN MY HOME. RODENTS WERE STILL COMING IN. IT TOOK 3 TIMES BEFORE ***** CAME TO ACCESS THE PROBLEM. AND YES I HAD TO TELL THEM EACH TIME WHERE THEY MIGHT BE COMING IN. CATS TORE UP THE CRAWL SPACE DOOR YEARS AGO. ***** BUILT A CRAWL SPACE AND DID NOT MENTION TO YOU THAT HE ASKED ME TO GIVE HIM WHAT I COULD AND TOLD ME NOT TO MENTION WHAT I HAD GIVEN HIM TO THE YOUNG MAN. I MENTIONED TO ***** THAT I HAD JUST GOTTEN A NEW WATER HEATER A MONTH EARLIER, SO YES MY FUNDS WERE LOW AT THAT TIME. ALSO, I NEVER TOLD HIM THAT I SAW CATS OR RATS GOING IN THE CRAWL SPACE. I TOLD HIM THAT CATS HAD TORE UP THE DOOR A FEW YEARS AGO. I NEVER SAW RATS GOING THROUGH THE CRAWL SPACE.
RODENTS CONTINUED COMING IN MY HOME. I HAD MY OWN TRAPS DOWN (THAT WAS ACTUALLY CATCHING THE RATS) THE BAIT BOX AND TRAPS WAS NOT THE ISSUE. I DID NOT WANT THE RODENTS IN MY HOME. I HAD TO SUGGEST WHERE THEY MAY BE COMING IN. ***** KEPT SENDING THESE GUYS WHO HAD NO IDEA ABOUT HOW TO FIND WHERE RODENT WERE GETTING IN. AND YES AFTER CATCHING 7 RATS AND 2 MICE IN MY HOME I WAS VERY UPSET. MY EXACT WORDS TO HIM WERE IF I HAD A FABULOUS HOME AND LOTS OF MONEY THEY WOULD HAVE FOUND THE ENTRANCE. HIS GUYS CAME OUT AND PUT ORANGE FOAM (THAT RATS CAN CHEW THROUGH) IN SEVERAL AIR VENTS. THOSE VENTS ALLOW AIR TO FLOW UNDERNEATH THE HOME. ON THE 6 VISIT ***** CAME OUT AND FOUND AN AREA THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DETECTED FROM DAY ONE. HE SAID HE HAS BEEN DOING THIS JOB FOR 20 YEARS. NOW I AM HIRING SOMEONE TO GET THE FOAM OUT AND PROPERLY CLOSE THE HOLES IN THE VENTS. I ASKED FOR HALF OF MY MONEY BACK AND I HAVE THE TEXT MESSAGE WHERE HE AGREED. ITS BEEN 3 WEEKS AND STILL NO CHECK. THE AREA WHERE HE SAID HE WAS CONFIDENT THE RODENTS WHERE COMING IN HE LEFT OPEN. I HAD TO PUT BRICKS TO CLOSE THE AREA. I CAUGHT 5 RATS WITH MY OWN TRAPS AND HAD TO CLOSE SEVERAL AREAS THAT I THOUGHT THE RODENTS WERE COMING IN AT. HE BILLED ME 500.00 BUT SAID HE WOULD KEEP IT UNDER 500.00. DOES HIS COMPANY KNOW THAT HE IS GETTING MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS AND POCKETING IT FOR HIM SELF. ***** ALWAYS ACTED AS THOUGH I WAS LYING ABOUT RATS IN MY HOME UNTIL I SENT PICTURES. AND THEN HIS RESPONSE WAS YIKES! INSTEAD OF COMING OUT, SINCE HE SAYS HE IS THE EXPERT. THIS COULD HAVE ENDED 7 RATS AGO. I AM BEING FAIR TO ASK FOR HALF OF MY MONEY BACK. WHY DID HE ARGEE TO GIVE HALF BACK AND NOT DO IT BECAUSE I FINALLY HAD TO STOP BEING SO NICE! A WOMAN , GENE HACKMAN'S WIFE JUST DIED FROM RODENT RELATED ISSUES. GOOD DAY. I AM SENDING PICS OF THE BOTCHED WORK THAT WAS DONE. NOTICE THE ORANGE FOAM ON THE LAST TWO PICS INSIDE THE VENTS. IT WAS SO THICK AND NOTICEABLE THAT ***** HAD THE GUYS COME AND SHAVE SOME OFF AFTER I COMPLAINED. THE OTHER PIC WITH THE BROWN PAVERS IS WHERE ***** FINALLY SAID HE WAS CONFIDENT THIS WAS THE ENTRY POINT. I HAD TO CLOSE IT MYSELF.THEY HAD BEEN THERE AT LEAST 5 TIMES BEFORE HE FINALLY CAME AND SAW THIS AREA. IT WAS RIGHT NEXT TO THE CRAWL DOOR THAT HE BUILT AND I GAVE HIM THE 100.00 THAT HE TOLD ME NOT TO MENTION. HE DID NOT GIVE ME AN INVOICE OR RECEIPT FOR THE 100.00. I WAS NOT AT HOME AND THE HOLE WAS LEFT OPEN. THE YOUNG MAN WAS STILL HERE WHEN I GOT HOME AND I ASKED IF HE COULD SHOW ME WHAT WAS GOING ON. HE SHOWED ME THE HOLE THAT WAS LEFT OPEN AND I ASKED HIM TOHELP ME GET BRICKS FROM AROUND MY HOME TO CLOSE IT UP. A TEXT WAS SENT WHILE WE WERE FINDING BRICKS FROM ***** STATED THAT THAT WAS THE AREA THAT THEY WERE COMING IN. HE SAID THAT HE DID NOT HAVE EQUIPMENT ON HAND TO CLOSE THE SPACE. THERE WERE PAVERS AND BRICKS ALL OVER MY YARD. I ASKED THE YOUNG GUY TO HELP ME. WE BEGAN TO LOOK FOR BRICKS TO CLOSE THE SPACE. HOWEVER HE WAS PUTTING THEM IN WRONG WHERE HOLES WHERE STILL OPEN. I HAD TO HELP REARRANGE THE BRICKS. THE NEXT DAY I TOOK THE PAVERS THAT YOU SEE AND REMOVED ALL OF THE AWKWARD BRICKS AND PUT THE PAVERS IN NEATLY AND MORE SECURE. ***** STATED THAT THEY CLOSED THE HOLE WHICH HE DID NOT AND LEFT OPEN. IF I HAD NOT COME WHILE THE YOUNG WAS STILL THERE, I WOULD HAVING BEEN CLOSING THE SPACE ALONE. THE 2 GUYS HE SENT WERE VERY RESPECTFUL AND TRIED TO HELP AND MUCH AS THEY COULD. HOWEVR, I DID 85% OF THE WORK TO KEEP THE RODENTS OUT AND I FEEL THAT IT IS ONLY FAIR TO REIMBURGE ME HALF OF MY MONEY. YES IN THE BEGINNING MY FUNDS WERE LOW. BUT I DID GIVE 600.00 AND THAT COULD HAVE GONE TO FINDING THE PROBLEM FROM DAY ONE. IF ONLY ***** CAME OUT TO ASSESS THE PROBLEM. I EVEN REMOVED SOME FOAM FROM THE BACK VENTS AND BOUGHT HARDWARE CLOTH UNTIL I CAN PAY SOMEONE TO GO UNDERNEATH THE HOME AND PUT THE SCREENS IN PROPERLY, WHICH BY THE WAY ***** STATED "I AM NOT GOING UNDER THE HOUSE". SO I NEED HALF OF MY MONEY TO PAY A COMPANY TO DO THE JOB CORRECTLY. AND IT IS EXPENSIVE!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME!! (SEE ATTACHED)
