I purchased a 2007 silver chevy impala from this company on 4/13/2021. It broke down on 4/24)2021 i called him and he told me to gave it towed to a garage. Car engine is blown. This goes under the lemon law. I paid $1000 down plus $125 to transfer my tag. He has the car knew it had a bad engine and still sold it to me. Now he does not want to return my down payment or give me another car says he will only reimburse $600 and fir me to add $2400 to purchase another car from his lot. I want my $1000 so I can put towards down payment for another car in another dealer. But he us ripping me off. Not giving my money back saying he will only give me $600. Something needs to be done.

They sold me an unsafe vehicle with a rotted frame and covered it up with spray foam and black spray paint. After a couple of days the foam failed and is falling off the vehicle. I called and he refused to make it right and hung up on me. This is auto fraud at it's best.

the customer review is not accurate and here is our reasons: 1- we received this vehicle as a trade in on 05/19/2023 (we can provide proof of that) and we sold the vehicle as is without performing any cover up job as customer stated. 2- the custumer came to our dealership in two different occasions (different days) in the first visit she came alone and drove the vehicle and negotiate the price, the second day she came in with a her friend mechanic and that person test drove the car (80 MPH ON US-92),and gave her the OK to buy the vehicle because for him the vehicle was in very good conditions. 3-after test drive they left the vehicle more than one hour idling in the dealer parking just to make sure it does not overheat or smoke 4-this vehicle was sold as is and we made this very clear at the time of the sale, also customer signed and agreed to buy the car as is. as a used car dealership we always make sure to inform customer about out policies and always encourage customer to check and test drive the vehicle before any purchase exaclty the way she did it, just to make sure the customer is buying with peace of mind. everything stated in this answer is proofable and legit, and we are willling to share with bbb any information regarding this deal to make this situation as clear as possible.

I did go and look at the vehicle and purchase a day later. Both times I had my husband with me, not a mechanic. The issue is that they misrepresented the vehicle. The vehicle had a completely rotted frame, but when looking under it in the parking lot of the dealership it looked solid because of the fresh black paint to make it look like the rest of the metal.. it had to be towed to a shop and the shop owner said there is no way this vehicle should have been allowed to be sold or even be put on a dealer lot, he tried to call the dealership and was told nobody was available for him to speak to. He said there was nothing left to the frame and was surprised the engine hadn't fallen out already. If you take a vehicle on a trade, aren't you supposed to have your mechanic check out the vehicles before selling them so you don't sell an unsafe vehicle. If the engine came out while driving and the frame falls apart, people could be seriously hurt or killed.

I just returned from the mechanic. He stated he called and spoke with Mario and told him that the car should never have been sold in the condition it was in with the frame rotted and covered up and he states that Mario's response was "yeah well that's the reason she got a good deal" so they knew about the vehicle and misrepresented the vehicle and knowingly sold me a vehicle that could literally fall apart at any moment.

unfortunately this is false information as mario never spoke to this customer or her mechanic, we never received a call from her mechanic, is a surprise for us to read this, how come it was possible for them to drive 80 mph on a test drive on a vehicle "so rotted" as they are trying to say. if the paint was so fresh as they are trying to say how come they did not smell or perceive any smell related to a "covering paint job" as they looked underneath like customer just said "but when looking under it in the parking lot of the dealership it looked solid because of the fresh black paint to make it look like the rest of the metal" as previouly stated we are more than willing to provide all documentation regarding this sale, the as is document and proof of vehicle trade in the only person handling this issue since day one is JOSUE ****  fifth gear auto group general manager i was the person who sold the car to her, and also the one in the back seat at the time of the test drive.
