My experience with Webb's Towing and Recovery was terrible. I had a van towed on Sunday 05-16-2022. The van to be towed had an extended top on it which makes it tall (over 10 ft.). This was explained when the tow was requested. I requested to NOT have a rollback wrecker respond for this tow. I asked to confirm the price of this tow (4 miles total) and was given a price of $125 (price was good for any day of the week, anytime of day). I agreed and requested the tow. Within minutes a ROLLBACK wrecker responded to pick up the van. The driver loaded up the van and was dodging power lines as he drove. At the completion of the tow, I was told the price was now $180. (After giving me a break for the 5% credit card fee as I am a veteran.) I was stunned to hear the new price. But I was not going to dispute it with him due to my job (deputy sheriff). I paid what I was told to pay and he wished me a good day. I called the main office on Monday to express my unhappiness with my experience. I was told the rollback wrecker was fine for the tow since the total height was under DOT rules of 13.5 feet. I was also told that I failed to fully describe my van as an E350 when I called. Even if that was the case, as the driver responded to the scene to pick up the vehicle, he should have informed me of the new price to tow instead of what I was quoted on the phone. Monday, after calling Webb's Towing to express that I felt I was lied to, I called Bolton's Towing and requested a towing quote based on the same vehicle and same situation. I was quoted $110 (price was good for any day of the week, any time of the day.) I now understand I did not chose wisely when choosing Webb's Towing. It is not a mistake I will make again.

I unfortunately have to give a star to this company. Yesterday I had a RV towed to my house from Lake Wales to Alturas (20mins away) it took almost 5 hours, which whatever. Everything went smoothly got the RV there and as the driver was leaving, he ran through our ditch, snapping our culvert pipe, We live in a lay area so that pipe is imperative to our property. The driver came back and apologized and asked if we would like the manager to call him. My husband of course says yes and around 20 mins later we get a call from a Mr. ****. He was so upset by this conversation that we didn't catch his first name. The man immediately went to yelling and calling names. Keep in mind we have not tried to call him or even start a ruckus at this point. The man called our driveway "po dunk" and told us to call the f****** county because he was not paying to fix it. My husband had to stop and ask him if this was a real conversation between a customer who just paid him $1310.00 to move a RV and the manager. The guy was so rude and uncaring to the situation. He then wanted to place blame on the driver but in the same sense not pay for the damages. Please beware of this company. They are absolutely terrible.

I am a resident, business owner, son, husband and most importantly a father here in Polk County. Apparently none of that or anybody else's life matters to Webb's Towing. When their employee was driving recklessly this morning he cut me off abruptly without a turn signal and almost cause me to crash. I pulled over next to him to ask him to be more responsible since he is in a big rig and he is putting people's lives in danger. His response was, "did I scratch your truck". Then, he proceeded to act as if he was going to grab a weapon or something. I then called the company to inform them about there employee only to have a horribly rude woman start using vulgar language towards me as if I was in the wrong instead of worrying about how their employees are driving and treating people. This company has no regards as to the world around them as long as they can do and say whatever they please and treat people as if they are garbage. I would not recommend using this company because their integrity is subpar to say the least.
