We reached out to HBI on October 20, 2023 to help us access our FIRTA refund because we are no longer physically present in ******* and there can be significant delays and complications when receiving tax refunds. We retained them to provided us with access to a free personal collections account thru their partners, Currencies Direct, a provider of international payment services to transfer our refund securely without any hassles or delays and directly from the *** ensuring we receive our money promptly. Instead they instructed the *** to mail our refund out of the country and after numerous requests made to the tax preparation person we still do not know what address the refund is being mailed to outside of ***************** .

      Dear Valued Client,

As you are probably already aware, Harding Bell International *** (HBI) is not registered with the Better Business Bureau, and therefore we are not required to respond to your complaint. Since we strive to provide the best customer service possible to all of our clients, we would like to address your situation, and assist in correcting it, if it all possible. When you reached out to HBI on October 20, 2023, we would not have been able to offer you a Personal Collections Account (***) through Currencies Direct, as it was not an available product at that time.  This means that your preparer would have only been able to direct the *** to issue your refund to a US bank account or via a paper check in US dollars.  No other options were available.  If the return in question is for the year ending 12/31/2023,the filing year has not opened yet, so there is still time to open a *** account, and amend the return to reflect the *** account details for your refund. If the returns have been submitted to the *** already with instructions for the checks to be mailed, and you have no way to cash them, we can still open a *** account and deposit them there. Please reach out to our Sales Support team at *********************** to get your *** account implemented today.  Sales Support will also be able to confirm the address to which your refund will be mailed.

I am rejecting this response because: the preparer was provided with a US bank account and still instructed the *** to mail 2 cheques totalling $U87,223 INTERNATIONALLY to the wrong address.  Yuping Huai even requested that we open another US bank account so there would be one for each return.  We complied with that request too   Also your departments do NOT communicate well with one another.  I've been working with accountants for some 30 years now and have never experienced such miscommunication before.   Are they all working from home still?

      Sincerely,
