  On May 10, 2016, BBB received notice that Concierge Vacation Services was hosting a travel club seminar at the Quality Inn in Spokane Valley.  Mailers had been sent out to prospective customers stating they were, “A Finalist in Our 2016 Toyota Prius Giveaway!”  The mailer urged the recipients to call the gifting department immediately with their offer code to see which of the following gifts they had won; a 2016 Toyota Prius or $25,000 cash, a Samsung 51” 3D Plasma TV, a new Apple iPad Air or a 7 night Royal Caribbean cruise with airfare for 2.  The mailer also promised that recipients would receive up to a $100.00 Walmart gift card if they responded within 7 business days. If they failed to respond, the gift card would be given to an alternate recipient.  In addition, if they called within 72 hours they would receive a complimentary 3-day, 2-night vacation to Orlando, Bahamas, Virginia Beach, Las Vegas or another location, while supplies last.   In order to receive the prizes, recipients had to be between the ages of 40-70 with a combined income of $60K and willing to attend a ninety minute presentation.  Married and cohabiting couples had to attend the presentation together.  At the presentation the recipient would find out if they had won a prize.
  
  BBB spoke with attendees after one of the ninety minute presentations.  Attendees alleged the sales presentation pitched a travel club that promised significant travel discounts.  After the presentation, each couple was given a voucher to redeem a cruise through www.awaytoparadisevacations.com, owned by ATP Vacations based in Daly City, VA.  Attendees alleged they would have pay fees to redeem their cruise offer.
  
  Complaints filed with BBB and online indicate that most of the Walmart cards given away are only worth $5.  The disclaimer on the mailer indicates the chances of winning the $100 Walmart gift card are 1:168,000.  Complainants also allege they paid around $6,000 to join the travel club and found that the discounts promised are the same as other online travel sites such as Expedia, Priceline.com, etc.  Consumers state in complaints to BBB that they could not access the travel discounts until 5 days after they signed up, which did not allow them to review the travel club offers and discounts before the three day cancellation window.
  
  BBB could not find any business registration or physical locations for Concierge Vacation Services.  Attendees alleged they were told the business had offices in Las Vegas and Maui but were not given any addresses.  BBB could not find any locations in these cities.  The address on the mailer indicated the company is located at 2711 Centerville Rd, Ste 400, Wilmington DE, 19808.  BBB researched this address and found it belonged to a company in Delaware called Corporation Service Company.  BBB attempted to contact the company for information regarding their ownership, start date, physical location and marketing materials.  To date, BBB has not received a response.
