Greetings! On July 12, 2025 I use the services of this business. After speaking with the manager ********* on previous calls. Also I paid an extra $57.50. The team that came that morning had an accident in the parking lot of where I was moving from. Until almost 3 PM I waited at my new place of residence waiting for my property. My frozen food was on the truck. I was unaware that I shouldn’t have allowed my food on the truck and the team didn’t make me aware of it either. The manager or team caption assured me that the $25 coupons and the $57.50 I was going to get back. Once I called on the 14th of July, I spoke with the manager ********* who said that Jose didn’t say that our I misunderstood. I didn’t have a chance to let her know my lamp was broken and my frozen chicken was thawed and bad. She hung the phone up on me while I was trying to explain the day. She yelled at me and said I wasn’t going to disrespect her business. Only gave back the $57.50 ands hung the phone up. I need resolution for this. Also an apology from ********* for her attitude.

In response to this customers complaint, there are specific details that need to be stated.  We were hired to perform a move for this customer.  This customer's move was also paid for by a government agency.  The $57.50 the customer paid for supplies purchased for the move that were not paid for by the government agency paying for this customer.  We did acknowledge there was a $25 coupon.  We also acknowledged there was a damage to a lamp.  We refunded the amount paid by the customer of $57.50.  This was to pay for coupon and the damage which was within government guidelines.  This customer has not mentioned food once in all of his complaints to date, so this is a completely new detail that we cannot answer.

We have worked to explain this to the customer and this customer has been completely unwilling to listen to any of our reasoning.  We have rectified this situation appropriately and fairly.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
**In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.

The manager ********* didn’t acknowledge the lamp. I have no problem with listening. I have a problem when you think I’ma child and you’re the only person with something to say. ********* would’ve known about the food had she not become upset and hung the phone up on me. Yes a government agency paid for me to move. They paid it for me. I’m willing to speak with someone that will not only talk to me, also hear what I have to say. I was told I would receive the $57.50 back. That wasn’t for my lamp or the food I lost. ********* the manager raised her voice when I began to say what happened and told me only thing I’m getting back was $57.50 and hung the phone up. That’s not good business. Your manager wasn’t willing to hear anything. We can come to some compromise. So if we’re going to talk about this, let’s have an adult conversation and come to a better compromise.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/19/2025

We have responded to this message and this customer.  We cannot respond to personal feelings as these are only of the individual.  We have several people from our office who would state that we could make the same claims towards our office staff of poor treatment from this customer.  We are now looking at a request for refund from $300 to $325 for nothing that has changed.  As we have stated, this customer paid $57.50 and the remainder of the move paid for by a government agency.  This customer is requesting a refund of funds he did not provide and for claimed actions that go against the policies of the government that we adhere to and operate within.  This customer had a coupon which we acknowledged.  There was a damaged lamp which we reimbursed this customer.  Claiming food spoiled for the first time in a BBB complaint when it was not presented to us previously.  Finally, food does not spoil within 2 hours within a move that would merit most of the paid government service being transferred to the customer.
