1 starFilled out their information form to "get my rate" on the basis of a soft credit pull only to find they all they provide is a uselessly vague range something like 5%-18% which I would have already known were the possibilities on any site. Except now they have all my info and my and my daughter's social security numbers. I consider this a scam.

1 starTerrible experience! Received letter promoting good interest rates. When doing the application the interest rate was so high it was unaffordable. When we called to talk to someone the manager Janette didn’t even know their address. Don’t recommend!College Avenue Student Loans, LLC

1 starCurrently graduated from university and they are not working with me on payment plan. The options I am given aren’t beneficial. They do NOT have payment plans. They give you whatever number they want a month. This is ridiculous I would not recommend this loan company to ANYONE. Also the customer service representatives are RUDE whether you call or chat. 1 starWhile my daughter was able to secure a loan for school fairly easily, the interest rate she received on her loan was 13.84% No wonder so many people still have student loans into their 40's. Despite thousands of dollars in payments she had barely made a dent in the principal. We have assisted her in obtaining a different loan through a more reputable establishment with a much better interest rate.College Avenue Student Loans, LLC

We strive to keep our rates competitive, but several factors determine the interest rate including both the applicant’s and cosigner’s credit in addition to the loan repayment option selected.
