    Horrible! They up code which is illegal and also take advantage of young people that they hire it’s sad ! Nobody should go there you will be waiting in the waiting area for decades and if you are a new patient you will be paying an extra charge because you’re new ! They can’t keep staff because they don’t like to pay and they have favorites! They biller is incompetent and so is they office manager and one of the medical assistants smelled of marijuana like how you walking into work like that and you not working at a dispensary? That’s insane like she literally walked past my car with my windows down and it smelled as if she was smoking it right outside my car !

    The individual in question is the mother of a former employee; the allegations are unfounded and malicious, and it is a deliberate attempt to tarnish DelCare's Health Solutions (DCHS) reputation. 
    Per an inbound call from Patient Relations with the patient's Primary Insurance Anthem BCBS, on 08/07/2023, the representative inquired if the visit on 06/03/2023 was her first visit to DelCare. Our billing representative confirmed yes, it was the patient's 1st visit which is why she was billed as a new patient. The patient relations representative advised of the patient's insurance plan type & the disclaimer included states the selected plan does not cover the entire initial visit to a new provider regardless of the services rendered & the patient is responsible for her deductible sent on her Explanation of Benefits. My biller attempted to reach out to the patient to advise of the conversation and was then made aware by the patient's daughter who was an employee at the time, her mother S. A. was on the phone for the entire call and heard everything.

    Spk w/Linda from Anthem 540-853-5002 who called because pt filed grievance regarding her having a deductible for preventative care. Question initiated by Linda was for the DOS 6/3/23 was that the pts 1st time visit/new patient, advised yes it was, that’s why the E/M level was 99205. Linda advised everything was coded accurately & w/pts policy plan w/Anthem, no service is preventative & fully covered at a new provider as a new patient so she will always have a deductible w/any provider for the 1st visit as a new patient w/this plan she has. Advised grievance will be closed on their end, pt will be advised of the accuracy, outcome & responsibility. Confirmation will be sent to us as well advising all everything was correct & billed appropriately w/no violations.
    The wait time in our practice is something that we take seriously, the wait time is an estimated 15 - 20 minutes from check-in to the room. Ms. S.A. was a patient on 6/3/23 (in the practice) & 6/17/23 (telehealth, the complainant was at home) and on both days her daughter was the receptionist which means she controlled the check-in process; thus, the delay would have been caused by her.  
    The fee schedule here at DelCare Health Solutions is set and we charge less than most facilities in the area because we serve the underserved population. We also have a sliding scale that is based on the national poverty guidelines, we ensure that no one leaves without being seen. The complainant has been seen as a patient 2 times, and as such, it is difficult to determine how she found out that we have “favorites’ and what our pay scale is, again this must come from her family member who was an employee here at DCHS. There is a Google review that will show that at the end of the former employee's (the complainant's daughter's) Medical Assistant Externship here in our facility, she praised DelCare and mentioned that the patients are listened to, I will provide proof if required. 
    I have no employee that indulged in substance abuse/use, again, the allegations are a personal vendetta. Since the staff left, DCHS has had multiple negative Google Reviews that include discrimination against staff. This is now becoming a nuisance and feels like harassment.
    At DCHS our patients are our priority, and it is sad that while we are trying to provide quality care to the underserved and marginalized communities, individuals seek to launch attacks that are baseless and unwarranted.
