    To whom it may concern,

    I am writing to file a formal complaint against the website Golookup.com for engaging in deceptive practices and unfair charges. I recently used the website under the impression that it offered a free service, only to discover later that it was a trial subscription that would lead to significantly higher charges without clear notification.

    Golookup.com lures users in with promises of free information but fails to clearly disclose that this is only a trial period, after which users will be charged exorbitant fees. Furthermore, the website provides no listed or advertised service in return for these charges, essentially charging users for information freely available on the internet.

    Despite numerous attempts to seek a refund, Golookup.com has refused to comply, leaving me and many others out of pocket with no recourse. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and goes against ethical business practices.

    I urge you to investigate Golookup.com and take appropriate action to ensure that they are held accountable for their deceptive practices. This website should be shut down to prevent further harm to unsuspecting consumers.

    This company is scamming people - charging their cards for a phony background check. I have called the customer service 3 separate times to refund my money and cancel the subscription (I realized immediately upon being charged) the fee was supposed to be $1. I was charged $1, then $20, then $16.98 - all within 2 minutes of each other. The customer service stated they would refund the money and cancel the account- they still have not, even after requesting it 3 times.

    My debit crad was compromised. And online banking hacked. There one chargecwas flagrd fraudulent but they proceeded to overdraft anyways a purhase from stolen debit card information and identity theft information from my hacked accounts ad refused to refund

    I joined the website called, GOLOOKUP, on June 23rd 2023 and did a search on myself, to my surprise nothing was there not even an address and there should have been a lot of information. This place is actually ripping people off and getting away with it, I called the service and they said they do not give a refund. This place must be making millions of dollars with this scam. I just want a refund.

    7-2-2023 today I signed up paid two fees to get a report via email and by login to the account created. I did not get it. I made 3 calls and got no answers and they refused to email the purchased report to Mr and said I could singup and pay on my smart phone but cannot get the paid for report on the smart phone after I explained I am sick without access to a laptop or desktop computer but my smart phone does all that lap or desk computers do re email and website access. They use false advertisement to hook persons to sign up also and thereafter the above nonsense. Thereafter when I tried to log in again my chrome browser with scam protection I added after the above gave me a warning that this company's write in not secure and persons may steal my data if at the website and to sign up I had to give all data on my credit card and address etc. This company should be investigated and bbb dould issue s warning or the like and pass on investigation data to relevant government authorities.

    This company, as you can see below, is a total scam. No company in the year of 2023 should require "a couple business days" for you to cancel your subscription. Had to get a new card because these guys charged me 68.22 (!!!!) out of the blue for a trial I thought I had canceled. This type of thing needs to be illegal and this site needs shut down.

    I used go look up and it stated that a 5 day trial was $1. I got charged $1 and then $16.98 on the same day.

    On 03/29/2023, I signed up for a 5-day trial period with GoLookUp for $1.00 which was charged to my credit card account. Before I could cancel, on the 3rd day, 04/01/2023, my credit card company sent me an alert stating that GoLookUp attempted to charge my account $68.22 even though the 5-day trial period was not up yet. On, 04/01/2023, when my credit card company texted to ask me if I had made the authorization for that payment I responded "no" which gave them permission to block it. I also called and told my company to keep it blocked until I talked to GoLookUp. I then called GoLookUp at (877) 890 -2213 on 04/01/2023 to inform them to cancel this account because I knew that they could not be trusted. On, 04/01/2023, I spoke with a GoLookUp representative who said he would cancel the account and gave me confirmation #, however, I requested an email from the company as tangible proof so I could unblock my credit card. I have called Go Look Up from 04/01/23-04/04/23 and have gotten the same response: "It will take 24hours". As of today, still nothing. I was also asked if my email had changed, it is the same one that they sent the GoLookUp 5-day trial receipt to for $1.00, I was even asked to check my spam, and there was nothing. By this time I knew I was getting the "run around" so I did inform them that I would be filing a complaint with BBB.

    This company is a joke . I searched someone name upon searching the name the report was ready after paying my money the report all of a sudden was not found . I decided to call customer service only to be told they do t do refunds . They are having issues with the system or something . .

    I was charged $20 on my cash app card by them and I'm not sure why for I have never used them
