    8/14/25 Hotmart posed as a platform for Amazon, saying you could make as much as $800 per day, answering simple surveys about Amazon products. After I paid $23 with a credit card, it sent me to a page to have “lessons,” which were all in Portuguese, which I don’t speak. I sent an email stating such, but the language used did not change!
    When trying to request a refund, I always got a message saying the transaction had timed out and to try again later. They would send security codes, but after I went to my email to retrieve and then went back to refund page, all the info that I put in would be gone, and I would have to start over, again, and again. I believe it was just a ploy to get a person to give up on getting a refund. So, I stopped trying and sent an email saying that I was contacting the BBB. Hotmart sent an email back, with subject line saying: We Want to Help You, but the body of the email was in Portuguese!

    The “product” that I supposedly purchased was called First Access

    On the 16th of May I watched a video that was on Facebook about being a product tester and give feedback to temu the shopping app. After about a 5 min video it tells you to sign up and have access to their platforms would cost $17.00 there were even customers on the video claiming how well this works and it was so worth it but you could always hey your money back if you weren't satisfied. So I put my card information in. Then the video goes to a split screen, the top has a progress tracker claiming it was verifying my payment. On the bottom half it said click the link to receive a special bonus. IT SAID NOTHING ELSE, NOTHING ABOUT MONEY OR.BEING CHARGED FOR THIS."BONUS". SO I CLICKED IT. THEN IT WAS an option for a second special bonus that I clicked then my notifications starting going off and I realized what was going on. Those 2.special bonuses cost me $59 and $57. The whole ordeal coat me $133 And absolutely none of those charges were authorized except the $17 initial charge which was authorized because of false pretenses. They are a scam. I have tried contacting them several times and sent emails requesting my money back. And a refund for the $17. I have not even tried to touch whatever service they claim to be. I am willing to bet the first click and they're stealing more money from me. Paypal also did no actual research or investigation into my claim. They never contacted me or even asked any questions. They don't have an email address to send them what I attached below. They didn't even try to help me. I'm hoping you guys can help me get this figured out out.

    They took $94.07 from my account when it should have been $5.30. This is a fraudulent service. I cancelled everything immediately when I saw them making charges on my account.

    I purchased a course 1st time and it come down in Spanish when I speck English requested several times with no recourse. Not even an email. Now I purchased a tool for Google captions but received no tool. There is a continuous withdrawal from my account and no product. I never knew it was monthly #1 but to not get the product just a kick in the mouth

    I have been trying to cancel and refund my money back from Hotmart, and I cannot get no resolution from them in anyway I try.

    I purchased a product from them and asked for a refund twice. It was within their agreement for a refund. Today I finally got ahold of them and they refused the refund because it was from May. I told them that the first time I tried was 2 weeks after I received.

    I was charged $39 for no reason. I have never signed up or purchased anything from them. They stole my credit card number from possibly Lifelink/Norton because I was speaking to Lifelock and gave them my CC number the same day Hotmart charged my card. I never even was aware of Hotmart or its affiliants. I do not know anything about Hotmart except they charged my card and now have the number, a American Express number
