This broker is a scam if only I had read about them before going into trade with them. they keep telling me to deposit more of my funds.. After I read about them and concluded and decided to reach out to Mrs. HARPER after I read so many reviews on how She has helped a lot of victims. Well, I am glad HARPER was able to help me recover my money. You can get in touch with them on their company mail Email: harperjamesplatform  @  g mail    com

Compass mining operates more like a scam than a legitimate business trying to support its customers. They advertised a product and service that they simply could not deliver which caused me huge financial loses. The deployment of the machines were delayed by 1 year and then when they were finally deployed, 6 months later many units were relocated and suffered another full year downtime. Out of a 2 year and 6 month hosting contract, and during the most profitable era, I had a mere 6 months uptime. Compass held onto all the money for the machines and hosting contracts and refused to give it back during this time. When they were finally redeployed many of the units failed instantly or soon after, and i was quoted huge fees to repair the units and was told they were out of warranty and will not cover the repair cost (obviously, they have been offline for 2 years!). To compound the issue, the machines that were still operating were now only minimally profitable or breaking even due market conditions and the increased hosting fees enforced by compass when the units were redeployed. Now, after already suffering all these loses and anguish, I’m retiring units as they fail and I’m told I have to forfeit my hosting deposits because the hosting contract had automictically renewed already... more financial hardship with no accountability by Compass. I’ve tried to talk to support to negotiate a resolution but they are not helpful and admit no wrong doing.

Worst Investment Experience with Compass Mining - Complete Fraud!!! My experience with Compass Mining has been nothing short of disastrous. After spending over $10,000 on a mining rig and paying monthly fees, I never saw any return on my investment—no mining rewards, no profits, just invoices. Compass failed to keep my miner online, charged me monthly despite long periods of downtime, and refused to offer any meaningful support or resolution. When I missed some emails (I thought I was on autopay), my miner was disconnected without further notice, and I started accruing late fees. I was eventually told my miner was forfeited, and Compass now owns it with no compensation for me. In addition to losing control of my miner, Compass offered confusing and misleading trade-in offers that seemed designed to trick customers into sinking more money into unprofitable ventures. Despite multiple efforts to resolve the issue, I was left with nothing but worthless equipment and a lot of regret. This company is a complete scam—taking people’s money for services they never provided. I highly recommend staying far away from Compass Mining. Their business tactics are beyond unethical, and if there’s any way for a class action lawsuit to emerge, I’d gladly join it. Compass took my $10K, made me pay monthly for a miner that barely worked, and in the end, I’ve been left with nothing but frustration.

High Costs and Diminishing Returns. Compass mining is not the financial windfall they make it out to be. The initial setup cost is substantial, requiring specialized hardware and substantial electricity to operate. Furthermore, as more miners join the network, the difficulty of mining increases, leading to diminishing returns. This means that, over time, it becomes increasingly difficult and expensive to mine new coins. For me, the return didn't justify the cost and i decided to pull out but they held on to my investment until i employed Kajembren . com that assisted me to get back my investment to the last $

Do not purchase used miners with hosting contracts in their marketplace. No warranty and when the unit breaks, which one of mine did within 4 months, the hosting contract deposit is forfeited. They quoted me more than the market value of the miner to repair it. So I paid $1300 for a unit to run for only 4 months. They claim to “retire” the unit but I’m sure they will sell it to another sucker and absorb their hosting fees when it breaks again.

My experience with numerous mining companies, Compass Mining included, has been far from satisfactory. They paint a rosy picture but fail to live up to their promises. The mining equipment I possess is persistently offline, and my attempts to understand the issue have been met with silence. The only certainty amidst all this is the recurring charge of the hosting fee invoice.

    1. My miners went offline a few months after purchase. Customer service could do nothing for me no matter how many tickets I opened up. I was offline for 10 months. The energy rates went up twice during that period. 2. They advertise energy contracts per year, but in reality they increase rates whenever they see fit. So my monthly bill went up twice before I ever started hashing again. 3. They told me that one of my miners went from a Texas facility to Oklahoma and that it was being cleaned. It mined for 20 days and then went offline again. When I asked what happened, they said the Oklahoma operation was being shut down and my miner would be sent for cleaning again, even though it had just been cleaned. Many more months went by without hashing anything. 4. They want me to believe improbabilities like all 3 of my s19j pro miners failed beyond repair, precisely and conveniently just after their warranty was up. There's so many things wrong with this. Up until that point they had no idea where my miners were, but all of a sudden they found them and knew they were beyond repair...okay. Also, s19jpro are known to be good working miners with a very low failure rates, but they want me to believe all 3 of my new miners failed, even though they only mined for a few months before going offline. 5. They "kindly" replaced my new, now dead, miners with who knows what miners. Don't know how old or in what condition. They also stopped taking phone calls and now only answer through tickets, sporadically. 6. Some monthly Invoices do not add up correctly. Someone in customer service finally decided to investigate further...and my invoices went up even more lol. Do not do business with this company, you will regret it.

5 months of down time, since Nov 2023, and still just lip service from Compass. I can't even request they ship it back to me, location is "somewhere" in Texas. Terrible management, horrible customer service; really expensive ASIC, I will never break even on this investment. Run, don't walk, away!

Compass Mining is a big scam. I bought a KDA unit Jan 16, 2023 and was online early May 2023, the machine was underhashing from the get-go, so I put in a support ticket on May 6, 2023 for underhashing. A few weeks later, Tyler Cohoon, their Product Manager sent an email on May 16th 2023, stating they bought faulty equipment and they were sending 5%-10% of the units back for underhashing and DOA. At that point, I was thinking they would identify my unit as faulty as the other. They never did and all the "Monitoring Team" did was restart the unit. That's all they will do going forward. They only look at one side of your machine's status (the admin/IP login side). They never look at the mining pool side, even when you provide an observer link or screenshots of your machine not talking to the mining pool. They never answer direct questions and just continue saying they are "monitoring it". They will delay, delay, delay until your warranty is expired, if you even get one, and continue to say "your machine is online" while you fight to get downtime credits from them. The monitoring team is either incompetent or complicit in the fraud itself. After months of Compass Mining deflecting my questions, passing my ticket to numerous techs and each taking weeks to respond, my equipment finally failed completely, and I had to retire the unit as of Jan 2024. That's when they stick it to you again by providing "options" that will otherwise cost you more money. One options they offered me was to swap my unit for a S19j, as of today BTC will be halving the rewards on 4-16-24, so my estimated mining rewards will be cut in halve in a month or so and on top of that, it would be used equipment with high risk of failure. This is just one of so many ways Compass Mining will be laughing all the way to the bank with your money. Please stay away from Compass Mining, you will lose a lot of money otherwise like I did.

Complete fraud of a company.. spent 200k and waited almost 2 years to start mining to to have miners always offline and still have to pay them for monthly service. Finally decided to have my miners sent home after 8 and 10 months offline, they still wanna get paid for service that was never received and took my other miners offline. Really need some kind of lawsuit against them.. we need enough people to file a class action lawsuit. Horrible business tactics, and completely robbed everyone. I’m out of 200k and got a bunch of tin can boxes worth nothing.
