They are very unprofessional. By law their storage facility are to be open to the public from 8am-6pm. They only accept cash. They overcharge by $140. They never send you forms or photos of their activities. Another red flag!. Also, they're committing "Predatory Towing". Which is illegal in the state of Delaware. But with a name like Pink Hookers,,,, I guess you can expect that ??

Like all other reviews, this towing company is terrible! They claim to tow AFTER 10 pm, however hooked my car up at 9:58 pm and proceeded to drive off as I was calling their attention. When calling the office , the lady who answered is very rude and said I needed to pay $300 and wait 30 mins for the next available appointment. The tow truck came back to the initial address 10 mins later to tow another car and I asked him why my car was towed before 10. He said he needed to talk with the nasty lady first and she ended up saying “it’s your call” then left her own tow guy there!

Got it! Here’s a revised version reflecting that:

@pinkhookerstowing took my car late at night from my apartment building, charged me $300 in cash, and destroyed my passenger-side tire. They claimed my tire was flat, but it wasn’t—I had Valvoline fill it with air the day before, and it was perfectly fine when I left it after 6pm when I got home from work. My dad followed me to Wawa, and I drove slowly there, but the rim was already too damaged to safely drive any further. I had to get a new tire from Meineke and wait hours. They had permission from the apartment company to tow my car, but the amount they charged me is illegal. Since I got my car on March 6th, no one tried to tow it until now. I had to take off work and spend a bunch of money dealing with this. I’m not a customer—I’m a victim of fraud and damage.

This towing company operates using shady business practices, forcing victims to pay them in cash and providing no receipt documentation. They disregard state law by posting ILLEGIBLE signage (black with tiny pink lettering) in apartment complexes where they are difficult to find and not in compliance with the state requirements for location. They troll parking lots only at night - between 10 pm and 2 am - and remove cars, often times removing the cars of visiting non-residents who are parked for a short-term and would have no way of knowing about prohibited parking because there is no visible signage anywhere near. They recklessly attach their towing equipment to a person's car and, if the person comes to them and interrupts this process, the car owner is told that will unhook the car for a "cash fee" of 50% of what they will charge if they tow the car. If the car owner does not have the cash on-hand, Pink Hookers will take the car away to their business location and the car owner must come to get the car and pay double the "cash fee" quoted in the parking lot.

If I could rate this less than one star I would. My husband and I have just been through the most horrific abusive experience that we’ve ever gone through. We are both elderly, and he has a severe hearing disability. We were dropping our grandchildren off at their apartment in The Vinings in Newark. We parked up close to the building because there was no signage anywhere within a three block radius, saying that we could not do that. We’ve been doing that for 3 years that they’ve lived there without incident. Tonight, in the middle of the Labor Day weekend, we came outside at about 9:45 PM to find a tow truck blocking our truck and 2 extremely belligerent people attempting to hook our truck up to be towed away. We were in my daughters apartment for no more than 20 minutes and we come out to Deb. We were told (Extorted really), that if we paid them $160 in cash, they wouldn’t tow the car away and make us liable for the $300 fee to get it back. My husband had to get someone to give him a ride to an ATM to go get the cash for these people because they refused to unhook our car despite the fact that we repeatedly explained that: there was no signage anywhere near the section of apartments where our daughter lives, we only parked there 15-20 minutes to drop 3 small children off and unload a large piece of furniture (with our son in laws help) AND my husband is handicapped and could not understand the driver’s slurred words. When my husband left to go to the atm, the driver and the surly woman with him again attempted to hook our truck up for towing despite the fact that they KNEW HE HAD GONE TO GET CASH. This company is criminal. The signage they rely on as their justification is literally three blocks away from where they attempted to steal our truck- we never saw it. And I am quite sure that the ”fee” they charged us for NOT towing our truck (illegally) went right into their pockets as an extortion fee.

They steal from people. Failed to return my car to charge more money for storage fee. This place should close. They break the law. They towed my car in my parking spot in the middle of the night for no reason.

That is incorrect. We do not steal anyone’s car. We are contracted with businesses to tow vehicles that are in violation. We do not make the rules we simple enforce them.
