We terminated residential trash, recycling, and yard waste services with Trash Tech LLC on 2/1/2023. We were told they would come to collect their bins within a week, but to date, they have not collected their bins and my house is not their storage facility.Initial Complaint

I called the company on June 30th 2022 to begin services on July 20th 2022. I paid $156.96 for the first 90 days of service and delivery of the trash and recycling cans I was told that the trash cans would be delivered in 2 or 3 weeks.. I reached out again numerous times during the first second and third weeks of August. I was told initially that I could buy my own trash cans (which I did, resulting in an expense of ~$50) and that they would pick up my garbage. Out of the 5 pickups, they only took the trash once, during the 1st week of August. They were unable to provider any information regarding the delivery of the cans and failed numerous times to pick up the garbage in my personal can.
On August 22nd I called and canceled services. I spoke to an employee who reported my account was canceled and that my 156.96 would be refunded in full. This was over 30 days ago and I have not been refunded. I am seeking a refund of the 156.96 I paid for services.Initial Complaint

as we continue to pay trash tech for trash service out trash is not getting picked up by trash tech. not only is this a breach of contract but it starts to become a health concern. this has been going on for months.Initial Complaint

We have made numerous phone calls to the company to pick up their trash receptacles in front of our house on the street since 6/14/22! They are still there and we have been getting the run around with numerous excuses. We want them to stop saying they are escalating the issue to their operations department only to find that a week go they dropped off 2 receptacles to someone else's home in our neighborhood around the corner and didn't even have the truck get the 2 cans in front of our house! On 8/22 I spoke to Jonathan and he checked and assured me we were in the schedule that week and he was surprised at the long wait! STILL no receptacles picked up! The last we heard from them was a voicemail on 8/30 from Joanne, after I sent them a nasty email dated 8/26, stating again they were escalating the issue to their operations department! How many times does a person have to call to get them to get someone to pick up their receptacles? I even gave a description of the receptacles and exact location of them in front of our house. They are becoming an eyesore! You can even see them on the street from our Ring doorbell camera! We have been more than patient and my neighbors are continuing to ask when those cans will be removed from in front of the house! Please help us! It appears at this point no one else from their company wants to. Thank you very much for anything you can do or direction you can lead us in to get this resolved as quickly as possible.Initial Complaint

Trash and recycling supposed to be picked up one day late, on Friday, 9/9/2022 due to Labor Day. Only recycling picked up Friday. As of 2:10 pm today still waiting for trash pickup. Sent two emails, one last nite, one today about issue of inconsistent trash and recycling pick up, now dating back to early July. Have gotten no reply and no explanation for why trash not yet picked up this week. Myriad of excuses noted in the past , when company cares to inform us of the “issue,” from driver shortages, to mechanical issues, to extreme heat conditions, to “difficult times.” I want a specific explanation as to why trash and recycling pickup has become so inconsistent, since at least July; why Trash Tech did not notify us of a problem this week affecting trash pickup; what their specific plan is to correct the inconsistent trash/recycling pickup; and a specific date when customers can expect consistent weekly pickup to occur. Also I want to know if Trash Tech will financially credit customers, as they should, for the repeated inconvenience we have had to endure with very late to no pickup on our regular day, often with no notification, despite Trash Tech being prepaid for this quarterly service, 7/1/2022-9/30/2022 in June.Initial Complaint

I am customer number 45373 with Trash Tech. I have been a customer since June of 2022. I have been timely in paying for my trash pick up and for a few weeks early on, service was great. In the past month and a half, they have not picked up my trash for 5 weeks...3 of these weeks being consecutive. I have called multiple times, I have written a few emails, all of which is responded to with " we are short staffed, new driver on your route" or another canned response. I am a very understanding person, however, this is still a service that I paid for and have yet to receive most weeks. my trash has continued to pile up and I have continued to NOT receive service. I really did not want to get a lawyer involved over this matter. I signed a paper saying that if I pay my trash will be picked up on designated days, I have done my part, now Trash Tech has to fulfill their part of the agreement.Initial Complaint

I started trash service with Trash Tech in March 2021. My trash was picked up on the scheduled day Tuesday or the next day if they missed my regular scheduled day until the month of June 2022. The company did not service and pick up my waste or recycle for 6/21 and 6/28. I called the next day each time my trash was not picked up and was told my trash would be collected the next day or the agent said they would put a ticket in with operations.I paid my bill in full for the 2nd quarter which was $80 plus the fuel surcharge they tacked on. The next time my trash was picked up was July 7, 2022. Now in the third quarter for the month of August, our trash was last picked up on Aug. 24 a day after my scheduled day. As of today Sept. 9, our trash is still sitting on the curb waiting to be collected. Each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I have called customer service to notify them that my trash still has not been picked up. Each time, the agent either tells me it will get picked up the next day, they will open a ticket or have responded condescendingly. At this point, I would like my services cancelled, have them pick up the last trash sitting in their cans, collect their cans from my property. I am willing to pay my 3rd quarter bill but only for the days my trash was picked up. I have read other complaints and don’t have good faith this company will do the right thing for their customers by refunding for services not rendered. I was due 13 trash pickups for the 3rd quarter, 4 for July, 5 for Aug and 4 for Sep. as of today I have received 8 of the 10 that should’ve occurred. I’m happy to pay $72.63 ($80/13=6.15 for the 9 days plus 25/13=1.92 fuel surcharge for 9 days) but not $105 for bad service. Pictures of days/weeks trash not collected attached.Initial Complaint

They repeatedly missed trash and recycling pickups over the last couple years. Now recently they missed the last 2 trash and recycling pickups. They charged me for another quarter before these recent missed pickups, and have not provided any service. I am trying to get a refund and cancel my service and now they refuse to answer my phone calls or emails. Their service is extremely unreliable. We have to call every week to tell them that our trash was not picked up.
It sometimes is more than a week without being picked up.
We pay quarterly in advance. When we tried to cancel the service and get a refund for the balance they told us they would not do that. We then told them we are cancelling when the quarter is done (10/22) and they hung up on us. We need to make sure that there is no way for them to charge our credit card going forward. This is the worst trash service we have ever had.
