    I received a letter in the mail informing me that my coast guard documentation is expiring and I can renew through their site. I filled out the steps and paid $375 to have them handle the renewal, unbeknownst to me that my husband was already in the process of handling this with the Coast Guard. I immediately sent an email requesting that they cancel my request (I submitted payment and the application for renewal on 7/1, and they debited my bank account on the same day, 7/1) and submitted my cancellation request on 7/2. My application had not yet been processed but I was informed that the fee was non-refundable and I was sent the portion of the application that stated my fees would be non-refundable. The language only says that they are charging me upon completion of my application--which they did not. My application has not been completed and my account had already been debited, so I have asked again for my money back. I have left a voicemail and sent 2 emails but no one is responding. I do not want my application processed and would like my $375 back.

    This company uses a website that closely resembles the Federal Government’s Website for documentation renewal. They also send letters reminding you to renew on letterhead that also closely resembles the Federal Government’s Letterhead for documentation renewal. The company charges 3-4 times the amount the Government charges for the same services. I see that many other unsuspecting customers have been ripped off by this company. I’m not sure what can be done but it seems very wrong that they can operate in this manner. I hope the word gets out to prevent others from losing their hard earned money to this unscrupulous and deceitful company. Thank you.
