      I taken my car for oil changed when I received my car back my hood was was propped open I contacted the car the service center and stated I needed a hood latch and that would fix it. I order the part and taken my car to get repaired.. I was told that I now needed a cable.. I asked the manager why was this not discovered in the first repair he did not have a reason why it was not discovered. So I ordered the part and now they overcharging for labor 350 my latches was under 100 to replace .. The manager NC I inflated the price which is unethical and unfair based on the cost to repair a latch and personal feelings about me not being satisfied with the service I receive

      My wife and I purchased a car here. We received a temporary license plate tag until the real one could be delivered. My wife followed up probably 20 times, and the response was the DMV is busy. It is coming. Little did we know that a new temp tag should have been delivered and could have been dropped off before my wife got a ticket for an expired tag. Called the dealership and left message with Jason I believe who is a manager. I am still waiting on his call back. Unfortunately, it is quite obvious they only care about the sale. Once you drive the car off the lot, they do not care at all. You should have seen the reaction from the guy when we said no thanks to the gap insurance. I do not want to speculate as to what sort of commission or benefit he or the company gets when someone purchases it, but we could certainly work on our facial expressions a bit more. People are entitled to do what works best for them. If it means we might pay more in the long run, then that is on us. It should not be any worry to the guy trying to push for the gap insurance. Our car had to be cleaned multiple times before it left the lot too. We ended up cleaning it even more when we got home. I would stay as far away from this place as humanly possible. I would recommend walking, public transportation, or even a horse before going back. Not even worth a call back from leaving a message for a manager. Embarrassing.

      I went in for a test drive on 9/6 and they swindled me into signing paperwork to run my credit after I mentioned to them multiple times that I was outside financing with a credit union when all I wanted was to test drive a car. They had my credit run over 6 times without my authorization. Now that they ruined my credit I'm no longer able to go through with my outside lending and now I'm left in a position to work a deal out with them or go home with a damaged credit score. I then met with the GM Jason to get a no-fault letter to take the hard inquiries off my credit report and I was met with laughter. nothing but unprofessionalism from this dealership. My experience was horrible and they are untrustworthy people to work with. It's a complete shame it went this far what they did was illegal and this puts a bad look on the Hertrich name.

      I purchased a 2019 Jeep Cherokee on 01/12/23 from Hertrich Nissan - Dover. The jeep had 184,000 miles on it. I understand the gamble when purchasing a car with high mileage. However, there should have been some kind of inspection by the dealership. I purchased the jeep for my daughter who is a freshman in college. The car sat in our driveway in Dover for 5 days before we had it shipped to her school in NY.

      She received the jeep on 01/17/23 @ 9:06 pm. On 01/19/23 the jeep cut off and left my daughter and a few friends stranded off campus. I reached out to my salesperson and the manager. The manager informed me I bought the jeep “as is” and there was nothing he could do about it.
      The next day I had the jeep towed to an auto place in Syracuse. The mechanic told me the battery needed to be changed and the oil was very low. I am questioning if any inspection of the fluids was done before I purchased it. Ultimately, I paid $313.00 for the jeep to get fixed.

      On 02/02/23 the jeep broke down again. I had it towed to the same place where they stated there was a crack in the radiator. A new radiator cost me $824.00.

      Also, we only have one set of keys to the jeep as the salesperson told me there were two sets of keys and I would get the second set in the mail as he had to retrieve them from the Newark location where the jeep came from.

      Two weeks after the purchase, I reached out to the salesperson and manager about the keys and was informed there was some confusion and that I wasn’t getting a second set of keys. So I have to get a second set of keys made?

      I then reached out to the general manager, hoping to come to some kind of solution, but he never responded.

      I am so disappointed with the lack of customer service and concern from I received from Hertrich Nissan - Dover. I will not purchase another vehicle from their dealership.

      Purchased a vehicle from hertrich Nissan in new castle who recently took over after purchasing dealership from porter Nissan. I purchased my Nissan rogue months ago and at the time traded in a one year old vehicle. To this day the vehicle I traded in has not been paid off, is still in my name and now my payments are late even though that old vehicle I owned has since been sold to someone else. This is unacceptable and my credit is at risk

      Talked to someone about an o2 sensor that needed replaced. Was replaced by them less than a year ago. She said it was in the time frame and bring it in for the warranty. Got to my appointment and then told it was not covered

      I am sorry to hear that you were frustrated with your recent experience. Parts Warranties are limited by time and mileage. I apologize if we failed to properly explain the limitations of the warranty prior to your visit. The repair in question was 11 months and over 17,000 miles ago. The part is warrantied to 12 months or 12,000 miles. With that said, the symptom being a check engine light and your decision not to have us diagnose the check engine light, we cannot know that the part that was replaced last year was even at fault for the check engine light. It could be caused by another problem all together. If you would like to I would be happy to have the check engine light diagnosed as a courtesy to identify the cause free of charge.
