              I called C & M to inquire about getting a deck extension. *** ****** *** **** ****** came out 9/17/2021 and emailed a quote on 9/20. They needed 50% down to order materials etc., and after I was informed that using a credit card would incur a fee, wrote a check for $3,600.00 which Jim picked up at my home, and which was cashed on 10/1. After I couldn't get through by phone, I went to the business and spoke with Cindy ****, the owner. On 11/23 Bill, Jim, and Bernard came out and dug footers and said they would be back on Monday after Thanksgiving to complete the job. After Thanksgiving when no one showed up, I called multiple phone numbers, left voicemails, and sent multiple emails, and have received no responses. Some emails attached. If phone call dates/times are needed, I will provide them. I have three 2' holes in my yard, which is very unsafe. I phoned my bank to ask what I could do, and was advised to contact the BBB.

              C & M Roofing and Siding in Delaware replaced roofing shingles on my shed. Looks okay. But: 1. They damaged a window shutter on the shed during the job. I notified the office but they have ignored me. 2. They also tried to use misc. board planks to repair deck. I caught that in time and demanded new blanks. 3. They left garbage on the job site. 4. I asked for tan or brown shingles but they installed gray. Warning: get every little detail and everything you think that might go wrong in the contract. Watch every move they make.
