    I’m having the same problem with trying to cancel the $29.99 monthly charge. They will not provide a phone number for me to call and speak to someone and want the first 6 and last 4 numbers of the credit card in order to cancel. This sounds like a scam!!

    I paid $0.99 on zendocs.com for what looked like a simple, one-time document edit. Nothing about the checkout flow made it obvious I was being signed up for a recurring subscription. A month later, I found a $29.99 charge from “Zendocs America Inc.” and had no idea why.

    When I reached out to them, the support emails became a weird loop of them asking me for the exact same information over and over, the email address I used, the dates, the PayPal ID, even though I had already provided everything in the thread. It felt like a runaround designed to wear me down rather than actually help. At no point did they offer a real explanation for the charge or acknowledge that the subscription enrollment was unclear.

    After looking into the company, I found this isn’t just me. Their own Help Center has an article literally called “I didn’t authorize a subscription or recurring charge,” which tells you how often this must happen. There are also international complaints saying the same thing, unexpected charges, unclear billing, very difficult support interactions. The company also uses virtual office addresses and a UK phone number, which doesn’t inspire confidence.

    My experience matches a pattern: unclear trial-to-subscription practices, surprise charges, and unhelpful support. Just sharing this so others know what they’re getting into.

    I thought I bought a 98 cent document and ended up with a $29.99 subscription. This was not clear and I want a refund. I cancelled right after the charge.
