When I brought my cat King; into the emergency veterinary facility, I expected prompt and compassionate care consistent with the urgency of an emergency situation. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. From the moment we arrived, I felt there was a noticeable lack of urgency or empathy in their approach. My impression was that their focus seemed more centered around securing payment rather than addressing my pets immediate medical needs. In todays economic climatewhere many individuals are struggling due to job loss or financial hardshipI found it disheartening that the only financial assistance option offered was to apply for a credit card. The situation became emotionally overwhelming and exhausting, especially as I watched my cat suffer while treatment was withheld until payment arrangements were secured.I also found the charges to be exceedingly high, and I am still working with my pet insurance to navigate the reimbursement process, which has become challenging due to the facilitys pricing. Even my insurance provider has raised concerns regarding the ******* a result, I sought follow-up care with Paw Prints in *******, ********, where the total bill was no more than $170.00 vers the $2,853.08, I had to pay VEG. The level of care and the medications provided there led to noticeable improvement in my cats condition within just a day. Their compassion, affordability, and focus on my pets well-being were exactly what I had hoped to experience from the beginning. While the emergency facility may present itself as a state-of-the-art, modern veterinary center, I believe compassion, humility, and a true commitment to the care of every animalregardless of the owners financial situationare what truly define excellent veterinary service. Sadly, this was lacking in my visit, and based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility to others, especially those who are financially constrained.
