May 15, 2025, I signed up for the Phlebotomy Recertification Package through ***. On June 13, 2025, I encountered technical difficulties while attempting to access the final recertification exam resulting in using the Help feature available on the website, no response automated or otherwise was sent by June 14, during business hours. Urgently, I called at 3:18 PM on June 14 to get assistance before business hours ended. Disclosures of an enforced 7-day waiting period after failing the second of three exam attempts wasnt clearly disclosed before or after the first two exam attempts. Not disclosing this policy and the initial lack of response to technical issues, my certification expired before I could take the third and final exam attempt that I am entitled to. Furthermore exam timelines are impacted by mandatory waiting periods overlapping with certification expiration dates which is a fundamental flaw in in the exam scheduling and management system. I paid for a full recertification package, including three exam attempts, and was denied the opportunity to take the third attempt solely due to a lack of transparency and failure to administer the process responsibly. It is the companies obligation to ensure clients are clearly informed about exam policies when reviewing all of the pre final exam rules and expectations, and that reasonable accommodations are made to ensure they receive the full value of the services promised. No reasonable person with actual knowledge of phlebotomy would be able to rely on the practice materials supplied to prepare effectively. This constitutes a breach of the reasonable expectation that study materials should meet at least a minimum standard of clarity, correctness, and professional accuracy. This directly impacted my ability to succeed on the initial exam attempts and added further difficulty when retaking it. A full refund of $200 is appropriate as I did not receive the services and support promised at the time of purchase.Initial Complaint

I paid NPS ************************************************************* which I came to realize they took my money and they never renewed it. I called them and spoke to **** ***** and asked why it wasn't renewed and he stated because my phlebotomy certificate was from another company *** and as per him *** is not accredited and they cant accept that certificate. He wanted me to take their phlebotomy test with them while I already have it with NPA. so he stated he was going to speak to someone to see if they can lower the price and I can renew sooner. But that day be called me and stated I had to pay all again. I stated is not fair I went almost 2 years believing my Phlebotomy Instructor was renewed and they didn't renew it. so practically they took the 500 but didn't renew and never told me they didn't. please help getting my money backInitial Complaint

I was contacted by *** to let me know that I have been put on their blacklist and blocked out of my account after providing hospital documents and a police report number to them to reschedule my test and requested the date and time I called in to cancel the first test and no documentation was sent to me in regard to the cancellation of the test. I think the decision of *** was inappropriate and was advised because I contacted the BBB that I was prohibited from continuing with *** services. I am extremely upset and want to report that *** has stolen my money and refuses to refund me or to reschedule my test. Upon purchasing the exam, it did not advise me that I would have to purchase a computer with software and was an extra out of pocket expense for me that I could not afford and have complained to *** about their establishment false advertising and misleading students and feel *** has not done everything in their power to help me resolve my issue.Initial Complaint

This certification is not accepted in *******, every establishment I have tried to use this certification at including my job says that they are not accredited. The accreditations that are used in ******* are ************************* of Medical Assistants, AMT-American Medical Technologist, AMCA-American Medical Certification Association, NCCT-National Center for Competency Testing, NHA-National Healthcareer Association, and RMA-Registered Medical Assistant. None of which support NPS, so NPS is manipulation buyers by saying that they are Nationally accredited. I spent $200 on this program and can't use it and now I have to spend more money to get certified. Also, the website gives unlimited practice test but if you get something wrong it provides no explanation as to why you are wrong, which is not really helping anyone with studying. All of the answers are not provided in the guide and also all of the answers do not correspond with the answers that the accredited agencies answers. Lastly, I have already contacted this business about their accreditation and they have not responded. That was over 2 weeks ago when I found out they were not accredited.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction: October 19, 2023 The amount of money paid: $700.00 The business committed to providing me the phlebotomy technician and phlebotomy instructor exam and certification.1. Per the handbook (page 11 of 33) , NPS stated that the exams were proctored by a company named ProctorU. When it was time for me to test, they changed it to **********. PSI Bridge system requirement's for exam taking is different from ProctorU. 2. I scheduled my first phlebotomy exam for January 13, ********************************** not having the appropriate computer setup and system requirements per **********. When it came to the verification process, I was told to present my Texas Drivers License to the webcam so the assigned ******* can verify me. The assigned ******* was not able to see my identification so therefore the exam was not administered to me. I contacted NPS I contacted by phone on 1/16/24 and spoke to ***************************, she stated that she will investigate the matter and will contact me as soon as she heard back from PSI. ****************** contacted me back and stated that PSI could not see my identification due to poor lighting in the testing center. When I scheduled to take my test for the 2nd time 2/24/24, a similar problem happened when I was told that I could not take my test due to cameras and computers in the same room I was taking my test. I asked ****************** if I could have my money refunded to me and she stated they will not be able to due to the companys refund grace ******* Which is not stated in the handbook. Due to PSI Bridge unrealistic system requirements I am unable to take both the phlebotomy technician and phlebotomy instructor examinations that I signed up for. Had they stated the system requirements and hardware prior to me paying, I would not have signed up for my phlebotomy certification via this program. FYI the companys prior name is National Phlebotomy Solutions.
