      I paid two $300 deposits for a prom dress 4/30/25 and the company signature dresses in ** never issued a refund for the initial deposit. No receipt. No proof the transaction was charged and voided. Nothing. Just claimed to have had voided the transaction. Now they're unresponsive. I was scammed. Im just asking for my $300 refunded back. Cash app denied my claim bc of whatever info they reported. Its not fair to me the customer.

      To whom it may concern,
      On April 30, 2024, the complainant placed a phone order for an ***** ***** dress totaling $577.70 (including tax). She initially attempted to pay a $300 deposit via CashApp card. However, due to a known issue with our POS system and CashApps unique processing behavior, this transaction was voided immediately, and the funds were never captured by our merchant processor. This voided transaction is clearly marked on her own original screenshot, which shows the charge struck through, confirming it was canceled.
      She then submitted a second payment using a PNC card, which was processed successfully, and a receipt was issued. She later submitted the remaining balance.
      We have retained:
      Screenshots showing the voided charge with proper time/date stamps


      Documentation of the successful second payment


      Transaction records from our POS system


      Internal communications regarding the issue


      Claim of "Double Charging"
      The customer has repeatedly accused us of "double charging" her this is simply not true. The first attempt at payment was voided, and we never received those funds. We have no access to her CashApp account, and therefore, cannot refund money we never received. We provided documentation of the void, explained the banking timeline, and encouraged her to follow up with CashApp and PNC, who are the only parties with access to her funds.
      It should be noted that she has since submitted a cropped screenshot of the original charge that removes the void indicator, creating the false appearance that we processed and retained her funds. This is a serious misrepresentation of evidence, and we have retained the original, unedited image she first shared for legal documentation purposes.
      Efforts Made by Signature Dresses
      Despite the transaction issue being outside of our control, we went above and beyond to support the customer:
      Took all follow-up phone calls and responded with courtesy and clarity


      Provided step-by-step documentation and visual proof to assist her in contacting her financial institution


      Consulted with our internal finance and merchant teams to verify the issue


      Continued communication despite repeated accusations and aggressive language


      All this was done for a situation entirely caused by her financial institution, not our business.
      False Claims Regarding Service
      In addition to financial claims, the complainant stated we took no measurements and discriminated against her daughter. These accusations are categorically false.
      We received measurements remotely, as this was a phone order, and confirmed sizing with the manufacturer to ensure a proper fit.
      Our team knew your daughters measurements and tried to offer perfect guidance on how to pick a dress in store once she came in to pick up the dress she ordered.
      Legal Considerations
      We take these defamatory statements very seriously. While we understand that consumer complaints are a part of doing business, deliberate misrepresentation of financial transactions and character defamation are not acceptable.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      You continue to lie even though I've never dealt with you direct. The strike through on the cashapp transaction was not a void or a refund. I was on the phone with ****** when Cashapp declined the 1st payment bc of a fraud alert, which is why that was shown 1st then the payment 2nd ( I shouldve just took that as a hint that I was being scammed and hung up). But I stayed on the phone with ****** to process the transaction. As I stated previously multiple times. You NEVER gave me a receipt for the initial cashapp deposit. Nor did you show me any proof whatsoever the charge was voided. Cashapp has also never refunded me the $300. So like I said thank you for the $1000 dress. My daughter looked absolutely stunning in her dress. *** also posted on my ******** and poshmark accounts never to purchase from your company bc you all are scammers and thieves with poor customer service and shady business practices. You have no idea how many people have asked me where I got her dress. How many referrals you could have gotten from me. Instead I told them a horror story. ****** learned. Never again. You'll definitely get what you deserve LIAR.

      I brought a custom made evening gown to Signature Boutique for their alteration services with *****. When notified that the dress was ready for pick up, I came to the store to try on my dress and realized that the alterations requested were not performed, instead the bottom of my dress was cut off and the slit was widened by the seamstress. I pointed this out to *****, the store owner and was irrelevantly and repeatedly told "I'm two sizes too large." Despite the poor customer service from **********************, I remained professional and requested accommodations be made to rectify the service. *****, the company's seamstress was not at the store at this time and could not speak to why my requested alterations were not performed and why she cut parts of the dress that were not discussed or requested. Transaction took place on June 6 I was charged $120 for the services that were not performed. Additionally, the undesired changes made to the dress caused irreparable damages, resulting in a $2,000 valued dress ruined by Signature Alterations (The dress received $1,000 worth of custom work done in addition to the cost of the dress). Additionally, I have take on $1,000 in therapy costs for treatment of stress caused by Signature stores body shaming and incredibly poor experience. An additional $500 in costs for Dress replacement for Miss USA state pageant evening gown was incurred. I am requesting a refund of the $450 overall payment to Signature for poor services received and a refund of my expenses totaling $3,500, plus $500 for emotional distress and 10 hours spent disputing totaling $4,450.
