With ************** since 7-2020. March 2022 rec'd Deca Energy offer. 3-31-22 Ret'd Auth to go w/Deca. Realized I made mistake on figuring amount (was paying $69/ Deca would be $99). Called & spoke to Rain at Deca on 4-13-22 & advised her of the situation and that I did not want the change to go thru . On 4-15-22 contacted ******** and advised them as well that I did NOT want this change to go thru. Each company is blaming the other for the change going thru. I have paid extra to ******** to get my account with them straightened out and back to the way it was and now I'm getting a bill from Deca for $90 for what they are telling me is gas supplied by them for 5-4-22 to 6-3-22 plus now a late fee of $1.48. On 6-22-22 I called and spoke to Rain and asked to speak to a manager. She advised me that a manager by the name of Amber would call me. As of today 7-11-22 I have never received a return call. Rain (wondering if she is the only person that works at Deca) advised me that I am on a list for Amber to call me (from 6-22-22 ??????). I do not feel I owe them any payment. For a request for the change not to go thru, made on 4-13-22 there is no reason why it couldn't have been done by 5-4-22. Deca says they requested and **** *** didn't put it thru in time and **** *** says they didn't get the request in time to stop the change. But here's me, the consumer, now being told I have to pay the price of their inadequate business practice. I'm in the middle, with no one to advocate for me. The extra I paid on my April bill to **** ***, I just chalked up being the price I paid for my mistake, but now I'm being asked to come up with another $100 for a mistake that I didn't make. I think Deca took their time in putting my cancellation request in, and it didn't get there in time. Or **** *** didn't do their job in time. I do not think I should have to pay this $100.48 to Deca.
