Manufacturer promises 100% satisfaction guarantee. I bought 4lb bag from ******** to try and puppy ate it all, then I ordered a 34lb bag from ****** (fulfilled by ******) and the puppy won't eat the weird little black pellets that are clearly a known issue with the manufacturer if you do a web search for "Blue Buffalo puppy black pellets". The manufacturer hasn't done anything to address the unappetizing rock hard pellets in the food. Now I have 34lbs of food to finish with my not picky puppy leaving little black pellets all over my home and they hurt to step on and so I reached out to ****** for a refund and they refused and told to to contact BB and BB finally replied and said they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but only if sold by ****** (which the order was), so I should go back and ask ****** again. I'm getting the runaround, I don't think it's my responsibility to tell ****** what BB's customer satisfaction policy is, I certainly will never buy dog food from ****** again and I won't be recommending BB to anyone after this blatant refusal to honor their guarantee.Initial Complaint

Blue Buffalo Customer service was contacted on 5/23/22 around 4:02pm. ( Per call log on cell). Informed the blue buffalo customer service rep, that our perfectly healthy ****** ( prior to this) had become sick off his regular canned food. He eats Blue Buffalo Homestyle Senior chicken/vegetables dinner. (All of our animals in our house eat blue buffalo products, Dog and our cats.) We have been a Blue Buffalo home..until this incident. Speaking with Blue Buffalo's customer service agent, the agent was informed that since eating his normal blue buffalo senior canned food. Something was wrong this time, he was having black diarrhea, throwing up. It seemed like maybe it was stopping. But, we wanted to make a report with Blue Buffalo, the girl took down the info ( allegedly) said she would send it to quality control. We had inquired if Blue Buffalo covered vet expenses since our dog had been healthy prior. The representative said there is no guarantee on that. Did not seem too concerned. On 5/24/22 the diarrhea seemed to have stopped, he was drinking an excessive amount of water and seemed to still be hungry. So, there was no alarm at this point. 5/25-5/26/22 he started to act a little finnicky but still drinking. On 5/27/22 he would not eat anything, but still drinking lots of water. 5/28-5/29/22 he began vomiting again. It was the weekend, so the goal was to take him to the vet on Monday when they opened. Sunday 5/29/22 he had two seizures with vomiting. He had been perfectly healthy and never had a seizure in his life. ( his vets can attest to this). 3am Monday 5/30/22 woke up his eyes had puss over them, his nose crusted over. He was gently cleaned up, so he could breath better. He was taken in Monday morning 5/30/22 the vets office took him as an emergency at 9am. The vet let us know that he barely had a heart beat. He was put to sleep that morning. ( I have all supporting documentation/pics of everything). Even the can lot numbers & Sku's. Including vet bill.Initial Complaint

I file a complaint with this company back in May , I just received replied back from their complaint department denying any refund for my expenses. Back in may my Dog had to be taken to an emergency vet clinic due to severe abdominal pain. It was found that my Dog was suffering from pancreatitis. Veterinarian advised us that this was due to a diet changed made using the Blue Buffalo brand dog food. She has had a lot of Dogs with the same health issue after been on this food.
