  Installing a geothermal system with King Energy was an excellent experience from start to finish. Val at the main office was very responsive from the get go and great at getting everything rolling as well as with helping with rebate info along the way. Scot was very thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with throughout the entire process and designed a fantastic system. Mike, who installed the ductwork, was also professional, kind, and accommodating of my schedule throughout the installation and did a top quality job. My system works great and my house is now consistently comfortable in both summer and winter. It is also a rewarding feeling to no longer rely on oil. I will be installing solar panels in the near future to further minimize my use of non-renewable energy and look forward to the additional benefits of my geothermal system as part of this combination. I highly recommend King Energy if you are interested in switching to geothermal!

  King Energy was my first choice when it came time to convert my homes HVAC to Geothermal. Scot, Val and Bob are first rate pros. Always responsive and timely with all phases of the project. I'm looking forward to an oil-free/zero carbon footprint future for my home. King Energy would be my first recommendation for anyone looking to do the same.

  My decision to use King Energy to install my geothermal heat pump was due, in part, to the outstanding reviews customers had left at the BBB’s website. I find myself in total agreement with them. I had four companies respond to my request for an estimate and there was no contest, Scot Rogers knew his business and was able to explain to my satisfaction, everything he was proposing to do and why. When there were options, he laid them out, pointing out the pros and cons for each. I never felt any pressure or haste to come to a decision. This was in serious contrast to another company who had provided me with an estimate, then raised it by $12K one week later. I received multiple emails and phone calls asking for a commitment. I realize that getting commitments is part of the business, but I found these “reminders” annoying. Scot and Val were excellent in communicating steps in the process and made referrals to excellent businesses who were partners in the process, such as ** ******   Work proceeded on time and in a manner that reflected the respect and care for my property that I appreciated. Bob oversaw the installation of the heat pump and air handlers and when the entire process was completed my basement was in better shape than it was before they began. When Bob walked me through the mechanics, he mentioned that the heat pump was not connected to my back up generator. This was going to be a problem. Bob spoke to Scot, as did I, and the next workday, electrician Bill returned and resolved the problem. I am looking forward to many years of ecologically responsible heating and cooling of my home and the savings this system will generate. I can recommend the folks at King Energy, Ltd. without reservation. They are good people and will see any projects they do, right.

  It’s been 10 years since the installation of my GEO unit. I. It was Saturday morning when I had a problem, and left messages at their office. Less than an hour later, not one, but two different individuals from that office called back to help. Not only did I receive help in a timely fashion, two representatives called. They care about their customers at King energy. Thank you so much.

  I spent a year researching geothermal, as well as other heating and cooling options. I am now in the third year of geothermal heating and cooling and I love it. Many people are stressing over oil prices right now and I do not need to worry about that. Haven't had an oil delivery in over three years. Scot and King Energy are real pros, Scot was super helpful in educating me in the entire process of how the technology works and how to go about financing the project. My advice for anyone reading this is to switch to geothermal if you can and do your homework. How stable will fossil fuels be in 10-20 years? Also, use a local company. Beware the giant corporations who subcontract to an installer 3,000 miles away. Scot is not necessarily "local" as I live over an hour away from him. But he spent the afternoon at my house last week giving the unit its first servicing in three years. If you live in the general area, I recommend calling King Energy first.

  King Energy saved me a bundle of money! Dandelion wanted to put in 2 pumps in my house. Scot figured out a way to have a system with 1 pump. Very friendly, responsive and professional! They did a great job installing our geothermal system and it has been running great! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install a geothermal system in Connecticut!

  I live in a 1972 colonial that had baseboard heating, forced hot water, and did not have ductwork or any AC. I knew that when I needed to replace our aging furnace, it was time to convert to geothermal or commit to another 20 years of buying heating oil in cold weather and melting during the summer. Scot, Bob, Val and the team at King Energy are fantastic and get my absolute highest recommendation. In addition to really liking them, they earned and kept my trust. They let me know exactly what to expect and helped with all submissions for Green Bank financing. Scot coordinated well drilling, electrical upgrade, ductwork, tree work, and energy efficiency audit and completed the installation in about 2 weeks. My 4-ton system provides whisper quiet heating and cooling configured for two zones, humidity control, and will pay for itself in about eight years. I also have solar, so am not seeing a cost spike for electric. King Energy helped me make one of the nicest improvements to my home that I have ever made, and in the long run I will save a boatload of cash.

  We hired King Energy to design and install a Geothermal Heating/cooling system on our newly built home in ******* last year. I cannot say enough about the great service we have experienced from day 1. Scot has gone out of his way to make sure we understand the system and takes his time explaining how the system actually works. We ran into framing issues early on in our project and Scot was right there with us to basically redesign the system on the fly. Our heating and cooling bills are less than 1/4 of what we were paying to heat a much smaller house that we were living in. I would ABSOLUTELY without ANY hesitation recommend King Energy to anyone who is considering installing this amazing heating/cooling system in their home. Simply put, Scot, Bob, Val and the rest of the team are truly the best at what they do!
