  King Energy is a fantastic company to work with. We had our ground source heat pump replaced in April. The King Energy team came to our home and performed an inspection of our 17-year-old heat pump. After the inspection we discussed what options we had. The discussion was very up-front and rational. Within 24 hours we had a quote in writing. Having previously done our homework, we accepted their quote. King Energy agreed to perform the work the following week. The crew showed up as scheduled and replaced the heat pump and the hot water heater. They also flushed the coolant in the ground water system. It was clear that each team member had a specific task, which they performed exceptionally well. Having done this type of work in my Navy submarine career, I asked many questions as I observed their progress. Not one of my questions went unanswered, nor answered in a manner that left their answer to be suspect. The entire installation took less than half a day. The respect that they showed to our home was commendable. The work area was thoroughly cleaned and the old heat pump, hot water heater, and associated items were removed. An operational test/demonstration of the new system was provided. This helped us understand how to operate and maintain our new system. They also guided us in getting a rebate from the electric company. In summary, King Energy provided us with the knowledge, both from a technical and financial standpoint, that we had made a good decision. We are very happy to have a connection to such a great company. The system is working well. In fact, we have seen a drop in our electric bill already, proving that sometimes it is prudent to upgrade rather than repair.

  Had my Geothermal pump fail at Christmas time. They replaced it with a a 3-ton, two-speed unit. They came out quickly and replaced it in a day. Both Val and Bob were easy to work with and very professional. Great to work with honest professional people. Thank you

  Fabulous experience!! We installed a 4-ton geothermal heat pump and a 2-ton heat pump in our 300-yr-old farmhouse in Stonington Connecticut in early March of last year. The system has been running just as designed. We have already saved over $5,000 in utility costs (replacement of old oil burning furnace). We could not be happier with the personalized service that Val, Scot and their entire team gave us. They walked us through the entire process from planning to installation, plus Val directed us to successfully receive our CT Energize rebate and now is helping us to file for our 2025 tax credits for the system upgrades.   I can't imagine a Better Business (pun intended...) than King Energy LLC to have install a geothermal system in your home. Everyone was an expert in the field and the installation was done perfectly and in a timely manner. Scot and the guys in the crew do excellent work for a reasonable price and are always willing to help if questions arise. I'd give them more than five stars if it was an option.

  Installing a geothermal system with King Energy was an excellent experience from start to finish. Val at the main office was very responsive from the get go and great at getting everything rolling as well as with helping with rebate info along the way. Scot was very thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with throughout the entire process and designed a fantastic system. Mike, who installed the ductwork, was also professional, kind, and accommodating of my schedule throughout the installation and did a top quality job. My system works great and my house is now consistently comfortable in both summer and winter. It is also a rewarding feeling to no longer rely on oil. I will be installing solar panels in the near future to further minimize my use of non-renewable energy and look forward to the additional benefits of my geothermal system as part of this combination. I highly recommend King Energy if you are interested in switching to geothermal!
