This past spring, I called Corbett HVAC along with 6 other HVAC companies to get a quote to install an HVAC system. I made an appointment. At the time of the appointment, I was not informed there would be a charge for the quote. No other HVAC company charged me for a quote. On the day of the appointment, I cancelled the appointment for personal health reasons. I was told that a) the vendor did not receive my cancellation and b) that I would be charged for a service call. I was not told there would be a fee for the quote. I did not agree to pay a fee for the quote or a cancelled quote. No other HVAC company made these requests. I have gone back and forth with the company's Admin who has tried to bully me into paying. When I asked for the agreement that I signed saying I would pay for the quote or a cancellation, they provided nothing. Because I didn't agree to pay for a Quote call or pay if I cancelled. I was sick and believed I did the right thing and was in my rights to do so. I just received another invoice with a surcharge. I'd like this to stop.

****** ****** called our company and asked for a free estimate, we showed up on May 8, 2023 as was scheduled and she was not home, we called her and her response was she forgot. She was sent a missed appointment fee of $125.00 to cover the hour and fuel wasted. Our system automatically sends out reminders for past due balances, no one from our office was calling her. We will delete the invoice as we are not expecting payment from her and she will no longer receive the reminder e-mails for payment.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. Their description of the incident is incorrect, but I accept this resolution and am putting it behind me.

A technicican came out to fix our heat, said it was working when he left, and it did not work. A second tech came out to fix the problem the original tech did not fix. I got one bill for both services and paid it. I was told by the second technician that I would not be charged twice since the first man did not fix anything. This was April 2022. It is not July and they send a second bill to me and are threatening me if I do not pay it. I am concerned because I was told I paid completely for the service that they did already. These are hard times for businesses and I am concerned that they are just looking to exploit customers since everyone is hurting for money right now.

***** *******, one of our customers called this morning after receiving an automated invoice reminder to pay an invoice due from April. She refused to pay for a service we provided. The first visit was considered after hours as we dispatched a technician to go to the property after business hours after she had agreed to pay our afterhours fee in the amount of $450.00. The second visit, we had another technician during business hours return and completely fix the issue reported and invoiced a second time for the material needed to fix her unit.
