• Advertising Review:

  In April 2024, BBB contacted The Fix IV Therapy regarding claims in its advertising. 
  
  Its website, Facebook page, and other online advertising include many health benefit claims related to the treatments offered at The Fix IV Therapy facility.  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal, therapeutic, and ingredient claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support these claims. Below is a sample of some of the health benefit and ingredient claims in its advertising. 
  "Our menu of Fixes and Boosters offer a powerful array of nutrients: alleviating stress, enhancing energy and mood, and promoting overall health and wellness."
  "Top Ten Reasons to Hydrate at The Fix: Maximizes Physical Performance; Improves Energy Levels and Brain Function; Detoxes and Flushes out Toxins; Keeps Cells Moving and Minds Sharp; Relieves Hangovers and Jet Lag; Makes Skin Glow; Boosts Metabolism; Encourages a Healthy Immune System; Minimizes Headaches; Improves Overall Mood and Keeps a Smile on Your Face!"
  "Foxy Fix: Bye-bye toxins. Regenerate. Rejuvenate."
  "Energy Boost (B12): Research shows 40% of Americans are deficient in vitamin B12. This boost increases energy and enhances metabolism."   
  "Sunshine Boost (Vitamin D): Improves weight loss efforts, activates the immune system and helps relieve symptoms of depression and low mood."
  "Slim Boost (Lipo-Mino Mix): Facilitates fat loss and increases energy, reduces appetite, builds muscle and promotes a healthy immune system."

  The business did not respond to BBB's request that it substantiate, modify, or discontinue these claims.
  
  Its website states "Yes, our infusions are safe. The ingredients are sourced from reliable, reputable and accredited compounding pharmacies and suppliers. The IVs are chosen and administered by our licensed and skilled IV specialists." The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB. BBB requested that the business provide substantiation for these claims but did not receive a response.
