      We called PriceRite Oil on Friday, the 09th, 2024. We were told it would take a week to come out here to ******** Friday has come and gone and they still haven't shown up. I paid for it at the time I ordered it on the 9th. My 93-year-old mother lives with me and our water is heated with the furnace. I
      called them on Friday to let them know we never got the oil and that there is an elderly women living here and they never called back. It is Monday and I just got off the phone with them and they told me that their truck broke down after hours on Friday but, yet, the oil was supposed to be delivered on Friday morning.
      I called the Governor's office in Hartford and explained the situation and even though we are cousins with Governor Ned Lamont, we were referred to our local Mayor. I called our local Mayor and we have yet to receive a call back.
      We were never called by PriceRite to let us know that they were having problems with their truck. They told us to go and get some diesel to get by with until they come. I have nothing to put it in!
      We will not be buying our oil from them in the future.

      I bought 100/ oil from company on a Monday price was 3.04/gal by Saturday price went up 3.26/gal. I was totally aware of the price increase infact it states this being possible on website. Here's the problem, when the delivery came on the ticket it showed 3.04/gal infact that's what they took out. I went into my account and they took a second transaction of $22 to compensate for it being 3.26/gal. I called price Rite oil they say the price on ticket from delivery should have been changed by their computer. The second thing that happened here is the second transaction for $22 should have only been taken out of my account with my permission. In other words they should have called me. Again, I spoke to them and they told me their barely making it having to pay drivers and other office personnel so in other words I'm not getting my money back. Is this even legal? I will never order oil again from these people.

      I have been using PriceRite Oil for the past two years. PriceRite Oil has always honored their commitments regarding price and delivery date. They will accept credit card payment and I've noticed that when you order oil they put a small charge on your credit card - likely to prove that the card is valid and active. I do not have any issue with that. I want my oil company to have good customers that pay their bill. That is how they can offer a low price and great service. Thanks, PriceRite Oil!

      I was quoted and pre paid for oil at $4.31 a gallon. When they delivered they charged $4.89 a gallon. It was a $200 difference! I called and they said they called and left a message. They never called. They said it says on the website price can change. When I gave my credit card over the phone I asked am I licked in at $4.31 she said yes you are all set. I said I didn't authorize the change to be charged. She said that is the way we do it.

      We Have spoke to this customer, and have explained the situation with the marking increasing everyday, as well and the shortage of oil. If you go onto our website for the last 6 month, it does say (price subject to change), we also added that the price is to be determined day of delivery. We explain this to all customers ordering oil. Not only is she bashing us on social media, also giving the employees at the office a hard time. This situation has nothing to do with us, there is a world wide oil shortage going on. With that the prices do increase. We explained this to all out customers, this is not something that is done all the time, but do to the circumstance at the moment. Many oil companies are in the same boat. She can call the General Att's office, and they will explain the situation to her. All oil companies are going through it. If you watch the news, you will see OPEC cut 2 million barrels coming to the U.S. We apologize to all out customers, and also have given them the option to cancel their delivery until the price goes back down. My employees who answer the phones, have the upmost respect for all clients and customers calling in. We do not speak to customers and **** ******* referenced above. This week, my employees have endured customers screaming, cursing, and making them cry. However, they have maintained respect for customers. At this moment, there is nothing that we can do about it, other then try to stay open, and pray that we and many other oil companies do not go out of business due to the situation at hand. We did not charge a profit, we only charged what was the cost of oil, so that we can break even. As one business owner to another business owner, this is something she should understand.
