I hired a Contractor through ********* to remodel my kitchen. Luis P******** came over my house gave me a quote of $8300 to do a full kitchen remodel which consisted of demolition, take down my old cabinets, sink, tiles off wall and add new cabinets, back splash, sink etc. only think we did not agree on was paint the kitchen. We agreed verbally and on contract, and he asked for over 75% deposit. I sent payment via *****. He came in few days later, later than we agreed and came to do the kitchen. Luis called and said that my walls ending up chipping so he had to get new sheet rock and I had to pay for it. I said wait a minute, why am I paying for sheet rock if you chipped a part of it you have to fix it to complete job. He said ok he will pay for it. Luis called later the day and said job is almost finish. When I got home to check in the job this man removed all the tiles off the wall to the point the actual wall is damaged and has holes. Luis Put the new cabinet on damaged walls, he did not plaster the walls or even fixed the walls before adding the cabinets. Not only all my walls are damaged but he did not finish the job and he did only partial work. He told me I have to pay him extra y fix the walls he broke and he says he didn’t agree to do the walls just to add cabinets and tiles that’s all . The last time we spoke he told me I have to give him the 15% of the remaining balance I owe and than he will fix it. He has 7000$ of my money already. I told him I am not paying him until the entire job is done correctly. I tried contacting him and he did not answer me back. Now I want him to either pay me my money back or finish the job as agreed. I have videos of the project and payment receipts.
