Lakewood towed my car that was broken down on a Saturday. They close at 12 noon and are closed on Sunday. I called on Saturday to get a price and was told they would not release my car after hours and I couldn't get a price until Monday I called at 7:59 am and was told the tow guy was not in yet I called back twice put on hold once then left my number to get a call back. They called back and told me it would be 203 . 00 and had to be cash. Why? I asked why so much and was told tow and storage. I said I knew this would happen because as soon as I said you towed my car ****** **** ********* **** *** *** ********* I also said I am going to let the police know it's wrong to allow crooks to tow cars for the city. I asked how you could charge storage when you are closed at 12 on Saturday and not open on Sunday and claim you won't release cars after hours . She did not respond. I have to get my car now because I will not be able to afford to get it otherwise because they are going to raise the price so high I will have to leave it which is part of the scam.
