    ****** ******* has been a resident at ********** ******* in ******** ** since April 16, 2022. Masonicare has staff (Nurses) at ********** *******. Masonicare rep Rachel from Billling contacted my brother ****** on June 5, 2023 about a statement with a balance due of $1,916.00. These were charges since 5/1/2022 (465 days) which were never sent to him or ever told about these charges before 6/5/2023. I called Rachel to discuss and she said these were never mailed out and she doesn't know why? Before all this, never did anyone from Masonicare contact ****** via mail, phone or in person. ****** is on a limited income and this would put a very big strain on him. He was upset and nervous. When I spoke with Rachel, she said she would see what she could do. I called her back on 5/8/2023 at about 1pm. She said ****** will not owe that money and the balance would be written off. Rachel did say ****** would be charged $151 monthly for their services going forward. I called Rachel back the week of 6/18 to let her know ****** was paying the $151 for July and also confirmed ****** did not have a balance. Rachel insisted no balance and he will be all set. On 7/17/2023 ****** receives another statement with the total balance of $1916 + $151. I called Rachel and she denied ever saying the balance would be paid even after ****** paid the $151 requested by Rachel. I contacted John T******* (Finance Manager), and CFO Steven B******* to discuss this. They need to honor their word. Never once for 14 months was this amount ever brought up by mail, phone or contact of any kind. Masonicare on staff at ********** never mentioned a word. It will be 15 months that ****** has resided at this facility and now they appear with a past due balance on my brother. I'm waiting for an itemized bill for each month. Nothing. A meeting at ********** w/Lori and ****** is 7/25/23 at 1pm. I want this statement written off as promised! ****** **************) on behalf of ******.
