Been on the phone/hold to modify/cancel my grandmas TV and landline phone service for 1 hour and 14 minutes. One person mentioned after these modifications and cancelations the payment will be $48-$49. Reasonable for just the landline and the most basic local TV channels. Final step was to be transferred to the cancelation department, and they said $102 and couldn’t cancel today due to the modification of TV plan. I asked to speak to the manager since my grandma has been attempting this process correctly since 2018, I’ve been on hold for 30 min. THE BEST PART is the First Gentleman said before I transfer you, it may take a long time for the cancelation department to answer in hopes you hang up. Also, whatever they say make sure it gets canceled. He made comments how bad it was to deal with them. I’m still on hold and can’t believe they can’t be held accountable. This practice is not only taking advantage of the elderly but the most embarrassing business I’ve ever dealt with.Review from Christopher W

I signed up with Spectrum in November under an offer they sent me that promised a $100 gift card. In January, I called them and they said the card was coming. A month or two later, I called them again and they said the card was coming. I just got off the phone with them and they said they had NO record of the offer and I would have to call VISA to see what happened. They said their records showed I did not qualify for the program. Don't fall for the $100 Spectrum scam.Review from Kevin Q

Spectrum mobile has been pretty horrible so far. I've signed up as a new customer at the end of Jan 2024 with a promotion they had for a samsung s24 ultra and thats where everything just started to go wrong. Looking at the plan we thought that it was just a flat fee with no contract or hidden fees but then monthly we're paying 19.99 including fees instead of their advertised 14.99. Follow every step of the promotion we waited and never received the information for our trade-in. After contact spectrum mobile support numerous times and being told to wait, which we did for weeks, they finally admitted that the shipping label was lost and a new one had to be generated. By the time we finally got the label for the trade in device now almost 2 month had passed. We sent in the trade in which was confirmed to have been received on march 30th and passed inspection. Our trade-in credit was confirmed according to the website however we never got our credit. So after numerous contacts with spectrum mobile support they tell us we have to wait 2 billing cycles. I contacted them again today as its been 3 billing cycles and now I'm being told I have to wait 60 days after the device was received which is completely different from what I was told previously. The customer support is horrible and no one there seems to know anything. They will give you the run around and keep telling you to wait. How is it our fault that they lost and never sent us the return label.Review from Karen S

I wish I could give them less that,let me start by saying my Internet service never worked. Then the hundred dollar gift card...never received it and when I called about it and to cancel my service here comes a problem. So, needless to say I still have not received the gift card.Review from Kelly B

I got spectrum home Internet and my cell phone and dish TV would not connect to the Internet so I called in and explained the problem and I was told to contact my cell provider and direct TV. The issue continued I called in again and nothing, again I called in and the representative replaced my equipment and it helped some but not completely. Today I call in because my bill is $96 and I had wifi three days in the last month but because the representatives didn't put in the system that my phone and DirecTV streaming box wouldn't connect they refuse to give me credit for Wi-Fi services I didn't have. I think it is horrible how companies like this treat customers. The representative today said what do you want me to do & I said disconnect the ***** But because I have college classes I have to have it until I can find another provider.Review from Jennifer D

Where do I start? Well, by accident on bill pay. A payment of $2825.00 was sent to a cable bill (Spectrum) of $152.00 LOL. This was to be sent to a Credit Card, not cable bill. So, we called the bank to put a stop on payment. ****** *** ****** *** They told us to call bill pay services to take care of it. So we did. Even got the check number they had on file for it, and said it would be on hold and to cancel. Well, 3 days later, it went through. Let me say, payment made and canceled on same day. March 15th 2024. On March 19th it showed it was cashed. Spectrum has our money. I have called SEVERAL times to get this handled. Even the bank and Bill pay services. Nothing has been put back into our account. I even had to screen shot my bank statement online (which there is to be security for that) and emailed charter refunds to prove that it was taken out of our account. ********. By gosh, if we were 6 weeks late on a payment, they would have shut our cable off. But since they got a big fat check on there end, they could gain a little interest and maybe look like they had some money in the bank. LOL. So it is April 22nd 2024 and still waiting for Money to be put back into our account. I just got off the phone again trying to get this resolved. WOW! Lesson learned to double check your payments to who you are sending to because you cannot rely on banks and services to be honest and give it back in a timely manor. Shame on corporations!!!!! We work to hard to just go without this large amount of money, that was to be payed on a credit card, in which it is growing in interest. Guy came to my door saying he was from spectrum.Sent equipment I signed nothing gave no information.Sent equipment back never wanted it and now they are trying to charge me.No account no agreement.Beware ofthese crooks.I signed nothing agreed to nothing sent their crap back and still thru are trying to get me to pay for service I never had nor asked forReview from Travis K

Signed up for streaming tv and Spectrum promised the app will work on any smart tv but it did not. I was not able to use the service and I canceled in 5 days. Spoke to customer service and told them I did not receive services promised and I was not going to pay. They charged me anyway for the full month. This is a company with poor customer service, services that do not work as promised and no follow through.Review from Shawn E

Spectrum Mobile coaches me into cellular service which was not available in my area. I cancelled service 2 days later and returned the phone as directed. They claim that the box was empty on arrival and continued to charge my bank while investigating the situation. I was in constant contact with customer service throughout the process and was only provided with "the ticket has been escalated.” Over. Month has passed and I was told the next payment isn’t due till next month, so hopefully it will be taken care of by then. However I received texts from them indicating the issue was corrected. This company is a scam with returns and continue to charge people for services and products without authorization. I have been very specific that I did not authorize Spectrum Mobile to draft from my account, however they continue to do so. Customer service has been an absolute nightmare consisting of nothing more than scripted messages.
