      I was a member at tapout fitness. When I signed up I opted out of auto renewal. I signed a 1 year contract. They still auto renewed my policy and are giving issues cancelling my policy that I did not want renewed in the first place

      I am truly upset with this Franchise. I came in with a friend originally. I purchased the gloves, and took a Free class. I was charged almost $160 a couple of days later, as if I would have signed up. Which I did not at that time. I was going to but then that problem presented. Overall, I had to dispute the purchase because they didn't believe they owed me, but then realized they made a mistake. After, that management started to contact me as I was not responding. That it was their mistake, but I believe the girl that did it was very nice and courteous. Come to find out she supposedly quit.. I returned for 2 more free classes that were offered due to their mistake. I did join, and I was not eligible for the no Enrollment fee as I would not commit to their yearly contract. Heather told me she wasn't supposed to offer monthly plans, but if that's an option then it should be offered. So, I have only been there for one month, and I wanted out of my month to month. I spoke with the Manager and told her I would be cancelling. She said I would need to come into sign paperwork. I came that next morning. A new employee was unfamiliar with the document and contacted Heather. Heather was advising the employee what to say to me, but couldn't walk her through the process. I kept being told I would still get charged for the next month no matter what. That was not my concern. I was aware of this when I signed the contract. I just wanted out! I kept asking can it be emailed, but they avoided my question. Asking me to come back another time. It was incovenient of them to ask me to return, because she couldn't provide her with the proper training if this should happen. Now I must schedule a different day to return, and have this possibly happen again. I should have never joined, and do not recommend anyone else to join either. The opportunity to cancel besides in person should be available. The manager has yet to contact me with the confidence that I won't run into the same situation, but when they wanted my money they called me faithfully. Hence why I am leaving.
