    I went to have my eyebrows waxed on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Epic Nails and Spa. When I got home my eyelids started to hurt. By nighttime, I had burn marks on both my eyelids. I went down to speak with the front desk this morning, Tuesday, September 12, 2023. I explained what happened and showed the woman at the desk my eyelids. To say the least, the woman at the desk was not sympatheic. She would not refund my $35.00 because I paid cash. She tried to say that sometimes lotions or other products that I might have used could have caused it. I stated that was incorrect. I have been to Epic Nails in the past for waxing and never had a problem. My burns are also located in the center of my eyelids. It was obvious from the burns the waxer waxed too far down. She proceeded to ask me if I wanted the manager to call me. I told her yes. He was prompt in calling me back. He said the wax was probably too hot. He said he would speak to her about the incident. He never offered to refund my money. I feel I should have at the very least gotten my money back, considering my eyelids could have been seriously damaged.
