    I went to the dentist for a routine check. I was told I needed a root canal. I got it done then I was told I need a wisdom tooth out I got that out . They then told me I need another root canal. After doing half of the procedure (cut my tooth in half . They told me they can’t give me my crown until I get another wisdom tooth out . I refused and they refused to give me my crown so for almost a year I have had my tooth cut in half with a hole . They should have not cut my tooth in half now I have a hole that is going into my nerves

    PT NAMED **** ****** LAST VISIT IN OUR OFFICE WAS IN 2/09/22 FOR REGULAR CHECK UP AND EXAM. SINCE THEN WE HAVEN’T SEEN THE PT. WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BASIS OF THIS CONCERN AND COMPLAINT.
    WE CAN MAKE SOME ASSUMPTIONS FROM THE PAST TREATMENTS ONLY. we will have to do new exam in regards to tooth # 31 if the tooth is salvegeable or non salvegeable. 
    THE TOOTH WHICH PT IS REFERRING TO IS # 31 IN THE LOWER RIGHT QUADRANT. 
    TOOTH # 31 WAS RCT TREATED ON 8/4/21
    ON 9/20/21 - PT PRESENTED TO OFFICE AS AN EMERGENCY VISIT FOR TOOTH # 1 ( WHICH IS TOOTH ON THE UPPER RIGHT, WISDOM TOOTH, BROKEN WHICH NEEDED EXTRACTION
    ON 9/22/21 - TOOTH # 1 UPPER RIGHT WISDOM TOOTH WAS EXTRACTED DUE TO SEVERE CARIES AND PAIN ASSOCIATED WITH IT
    9/29/21 - TOOTH # 31 - POST AND CORE BUILD UP WAS DONE 
    ITS THE ***** INSURANCE WHICH HAS PUT THE CLAUSE STATING THAT CROWN # 31 WILL BE COVERED ONLY IF PT ADDRESS TOOTH # 32 ( LOWER RIGHT WISDOM TOOTH) AS AN EXTRACTION. 
    FOLLOWING THE EXRACTION ***** INSURANCE NEEDS NEW X RAY OF TOOTH # 31 FOR THE NEW APPROVAL OF THE CROWN. APPROVAL FOR CROWN IS GOOD FOR ONLY ONE YEAR WHICH IS WAY OVERPAST FROM 9/29/21. 
    PT HASN’T BEEN SEEN OUR OFFICE SINCE 2/09/22,  MORE THAN A YEAR. WE HAVEN’T DONE ANY EXAM OR CHECK UP ON # 31 TOOTH. 
    UNFORTUNATELY TOOTH # 31 IS BROKEN AS PER PT’S CONCERN. 
    PT HAS NOT BEEN SINCE THIS INCIDENT HAS HAPPENED AND IS LOOKING FOR CROWN. WE WILL MORE THAN HAPPY TO SEE HIM AND FIX THE TOOTH # 31 WITH CROWN IF PT WANTS TO PURSUE THIS. HOWEVER IT’S THE INSURANCE WHICH IS PUTTING THIS CLAUSE OF EXTRACTION # 32 PRIOR TO DOING THE CROWN # 31. IF PT WANTS TO CALL ***** AND CONFIRM THAT HE WILL GET A THOROUGH EXPLAINATION WHY ***** WANTS THAT.
    AGAIN , IF PT WANTS TO DO THE CROWN WITH OUT GETTING # 32 EXTRACTED THEN HE WILL HAVE TO DO IT WITHOUT INSURANCE COVERING THAT PROCEDURE I.E. OUT OF POCKET COST AND WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SEE HIM ANYTIME OF HIS CONVENIENCE.

    I came in today 10/25/22 at 11:30am for my filling to get done . I sat in chair for hour while they took others ahead of me I asked Viola ( front desk receptionist ) how long it would be because it was 12:30pm the doctor Dr.P**** came in and told me “ If your gonna have an attitude your *** can leave right now we’re backed on staff I asked him why was he disrespecting me and he said he apologized but he short staff and that if I’m gonna have an attitude I can leave and I’m gonna have to wait another hour . Phillip came in apologized and I told him what happen he put the vest back on me and said they’ll take care of it then the Dr.P**** said he’s not helping my *** get a filling .

    Pt. ****** ****** came to our dental clinic on 10/24/2022 with a chief complaint of pain and broken tooth on #9 and immediately an emergency appointment was made by our staff.  
    Pt. had a dental history of a filling done on the same tooth many years ago.Recently before coming to us , he was seen at a different dental clinic , where the Dentist recommended to do a RCT on #9 , which he didn't agree with. One of the reasons why he came to us was because he just wanted a filling irrespective of what the actual diagnosis and prognosis was for #9. While the dental ***istant was doing their job and taking X-rays to evaluate, he didn't cooperate well with the ***istants and did not allow them to perform their duties. Lady dental ***istant was not comfortable seeing him in the room unless the Dr was present.
    When Dr. P**** did the examination and tried to explain to him that doing a filling on that tooth is no use and it wont sustain and it's just a liability , he was just  not ready to understand. He was rude, arrogant and argumentative. 
    He continued to argue with Dr.P**** in regards with the diagnosis and treatment , even though the right treatment according Dr.P**** was to do a crown. 
    Even after the incident, Dr. P**** decided to attempt the filling and made an appointment for him on  10/25/2022. Unfortunately , that day we were short staffed and were running late. He was constantly asking the front desk when I am going to get my fillings done , when the receptionist explained to him that it might take a little longer and that she is really sorry for the inconvenience which happened. Pt was peeking through other dental operatories to check for pt and violating the other pt’s privacy and treatments. He decided to walk out of the operating room and started arguing with the staff. That was the time when Dr.P**** came into the picture because the other patients were not comfortable with the chaos which was happening and were ready to leave the premises.  Dr. P**** was forced to ask him to leave the clinic because of his continuous rude, disrespectful  and arrogant behaviour towards everyone from pt’s to staff.

    I am rejecting this response because:I complied with worker . Which I spoke to on the phone  and said they would confirm also . I asked one time how long would it be because somebody walked in after me scheduled an appointment and you guys took here in. Dr.P**** told me “ he’d send my *** home if I couldn’t wait “ Phil can agree to everything I’m saying in the messsge . She ****** me by myself the doctor that said the exam I knew I needed an x ray and I also got a filling done at ******** ****** where there was no crown , or anything needles because it was a small chip and you wanted to bill my insurance more . The lady that just had walked in agreed to leave since I was there first and Dr.P**** told her no . I have recording of Dr.P**** walking in the room and telling me he’d send my *** home . 

    The staff apologized they were short staff and dr.P**** said he would still not do my filling . From desk staff also agreed to me only asking once . My appointment was at 11:30 I asked when I’d get my filling done at 12:45 which I have a video of still sitting in the chair .
