I can make a list of issues. I was expecting to pay about $33k for a new 2023 Mazda 3 Hatchback after all the taxes and fees, however they sneak in a $5000 market adjustment payment which bloated the loan for a $28k car to a $38k loan.
Not only that, but they gave me a 9% interest rate. One of the worst rates I've seen for an autoloan which I soon refinanced down to 4%.
After refinancing, I attempted to contact them over 5+ times to cancel and refund my GAP insurance since the loan was paid off and each time I call, I get forwarded to Peter from finance who never returns any calls. When I showed up in person, they toild me he cannot be seen without an appointment and then they never scheduled the appointment even though they noted my availability. They just ignored my request.
The dealership should respond to all their customers. Not just the ones that are buying a car from them. 0/10 experience.

My 2015 ******* ***** ** was burning an excessive amount of oil. I brought it to Central Auto Group in Plainfield, where I purchase it new. After submitting all kinds of documentation to ******* Motor America, they approved a new engine replacement. It took 5 months for the parts to come in, at which point, Central took my car to perform the engine replacement. They told me it would take 2-3 days, but it took 2.5 weeks. After having my engine replaced, I had to bring it back three times for the same issue; the check engine light would come on within an hour of leaving the dealership. Central had my car for another 6 weeks and did not communicate with us about status updates, unless if we called. They said it was an electrical issue, but could not pinpoint it. They worked on it sporadically. They had no idea what was wrong and I suspect they didn't prioritize it because they were no longer being paid by ******* Motor America for the engine replacement. When I dropped off my vehicle, the check engine light wasn't on, nor did it have any electrical problems. I was promised a new engine so my vehicle would work properly and it was nothing but headaches for weeks on end. I would NOT recommend Central Auto Group for repairs.
