    2 months after our trip we are still trying to get our money back for a car we never received. They over booked the vehicles and still charged us. Now we have reached out several times via email and calls and still haven’t received our refund. We had to rent from another company taking hours longer than we were planning on. I would never recommend this company. Scam

    A total scam. They did not have my car after I prepaid for it a month earlier. They have refused to refund my money even though I never received the car. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

    We just had the worse experience with Rentalcars.com. The rentalcar.com reservation was not honored by the rental car agency upon arrival. We were essentially stranded without a car, and we had to take an Uber to the hotel. Rentalcars.com did not offer any assistance or apologies. We rebooked through rentalcars.com for another rental, but it did not go well. Rentalcars.com also did not compensate us in any way for the reservation that was not honored. We felt that we wasted so much time dealing with this group. Also, the rental car coverage did not carry over to the new rental. Don't waste your time with this group.

    Terrible service: They never refunded the rental fees although I proved that there were NO CARS available at the pickup time. They didn't provide a reason other than the generic standard response which indicates they never looked at what happened; people were waiting for 4-6 hours at the airport to pick up their reserved cars but this rentalcars.com support team refuse to listen. They charged my credit card at the time of reservation; not at the pickup time and this is a RED FLAG!!

    I was suppose to pay only $33 at counter as per my rentalcars.com voucher. Instead they required me to pay $109 at counter. I called the customer service after that she asked me to proceed and open up case for the refund.
    When I opened up the case they closed it without notifying me and when I called and presented that it was their represenative who asked to me to proceed after she realized they provided wrong amount on voucher she hung up the phone on me. ***** with pretty voice.

    When I arrived at **** *** in ****** *******a the agent told me that the booking that I made on ******************* was not valid for a Canadian Driver's license. He told me that he had to create a new booking and that the booking that I made on ******************* would be refunded. No other car rental company was still open at this time, so my Wife, Newborn baby and I had no choice but to pay for a new reservation. I filed complaints with **** *** and ******************* but neither company responded.

    This company is a scam and should be investigated. Do not ever use them or booking.com
    They take the money and don't provide cars. I have had 2 bad experiences with them and never again.
    Advertise free cancellation but this is a lie as they don't refund.

    Please refrain from engaging with this company. I made a reservation through Rentalcars.com and paid the full amount, expecting a great deal. However, upon arrival, they informed me that they did not have a car available for me. Despite this, they have refused to issue a refund. This constitutes a fraudulent practice, and I strongly advise against using their services. Instead, I recommend reputable car rental companies such as ******

    They charge soooooo many fees. This company should be investigated. They they charged a fee when the rental was cancel still billed my credit card fees although the rental was completely cancelled by budget. Unable to reach anyone, this company is not being truthful.

    I was charged more at the Dollar Car Rental than I contracted for through rentalcars.com, and I did not receive the car that I paid for. Upon contacting rentalcars.com, all correspondence is through email, and when I lodged a complaint online, the questionnaire was in Polish. All I wanted was the "overcharge" to be refunded, since I did not receive the car or one similar in the contract, and it was an overcharge- even if it was the car that was in the contract. Ultimately, they refused, saying they could not give me a full refund, which was NOT what I asked for (just wanted the difference between the contract price and the overcharge). WILL NEVER use them or any of their other sites (booking.com, etc.) again. Customer service was the worst I've ever encountered. Will only call individual companies from now on. Stay away from these companies. If there is a problem, it will not be resolved. The customer will eat it.
