    I contacted the office on 1/29/25 and spoke to Jeanette and told her that I had cut off my home phone and needed to update my emergency contacts. She changed the contact numbers (including mine) and never mentiobned to me that the system would not be monitoring anything without a home phone. This only occured to me about a moth later. I asked for someone to come to my house and reevaluate my system since it needed to be updated. It took 1 1/2 for a rep (Greg) and the service manager (Al) to come to my house and Al acknowledged that I was not being monitored and would give me a 2 month refund. I checked my charge and realized that the monitoring was from 2/1 - 4/30/25 and he should have offered to give me a 3 month refund. I decided to go with another company and Security Solutions reniged on the refund telling me that they were only going to give it to me if I used them for the new system. They sent me a cancellation notice dated the beginning April and I pointed out that I had called on 1/29. They changed the date and later accused me of changing the date! I disputed the charge on my **** card and they added back the $111.28 charge onto the cancellation notice which said the credits would be received after it was signed. I signed it yesterday and Linda Curtis (the person whom I have been dealing with) said that they had been paying for the monitoring so I had to pay for it. I have repeatedly said I should not have to pay for a service I was not receiving, especially since I called prior to the 2/1 charge. I have been a customer since 1991 - they were recently sold to a larger company and not only have I been called a liar twice but I have been rudely treated.

    We apologize for any miscommunication with this customer.  We had already credited off the May invoice and have now credited off the February invoice as well.

    Her account is cancelled and no further bills will be sent and no charges will be made to her credit card.
