    On January 12, 2023, a technician from Anytime Appliance came to our home to replace a noise filter in our ***** Convection/Microwave Oven. They had come out two months prior to make a diagnostic and order the new part. After the technician finished the job in their second visit and placed the oven back in its place, he informed me that he had replaced the air filter (as agreed upon) but also went ahead and changed the door latches because this oven was known to have issues with this. Prior to this visit, we had no issues with the door latches and did not agree to this in advance. We had paid a total of $469 for diagnostic and repair. Three months later, we realized that every time we open/close the door of the oven, the fuse would blow and cause the oven to lose power. The latch is causing the problem in the oven. I called Anytime and they said that in order for someone to return to the house, I would need to pay for another service visit. I had a Wolf/Viking repairman as well as an electrician look at the problem and they both said that Anytime should return to fix this mistake. I called ***** to see we could purchase a replacement latch and was informed that they do not sell the latch separately and I would need to purchase a whole new door. It seems that Anytime used a non-***** part in our oven. I corresponded with the owner of Anytime Appliance and he insists that because I did not call within one month of visit, he is not accountable and will need to charge to repair this issue. So not only did we pay over $469 to Anytime to fix our oven but now we have another repair that needs to be done on parts that were unnecessarily changed by Anytime. To replace the oven is over $2500. To replace the door will be over $500 for the part alone.

    Company M.O. Tech will come with no parts Tech will spend a little over 1 hour diagnostic Tech will charge you $ 250 for visit and tell you they will return when parts arrive No set time They the send you an inflated contract for parts and another visit charge which you have to sign if you want your appliance repaired . STAY AWAY. Business is NOT bbb accredited !!!

    We inform every customer of the charges, if we have to return with parts we supply an estimate for parts and labor to install. Customers do no get charged a second service fee when we return with parts. Cust dryer has no heat there are 6 poss causes. We carry most common parts. if we have the parts in the van or come back another day the labor cost is the same. Although this customer left foul berating voicemails, swore profusely at my staff, and threatened to call the police, BBB, google reviews etc.. Our charges are explained up front and are more than competitive with the market. I have all voicemails and documents for anyone to examine. I sent the customer an email even with his poor behavior I would still be happy to repair his dryer.

    Below is the estimate we received after paying the company. I offered to retract my review if he returned our money. He refused and threatened to blackball us in his industry. I would not want any one from this company back in my house under any circumstance. We do not charge anything unless you change your mind. Even if you changed your mind and forgot to tell us then you will be responsible for all shipping fees, restocking fees. Some companies charge restocking, some don't, that's just how it is. What happens once you have jumped through the above hoops, you might ask? 1. Now, you can relax. We will order your parts! COVID has hit the parts world by storm, delays and backorders abound. We put a lot of effort into finding your part at the best price, and from the closest location. Trust us, we want to get this repair done for you too! 2. Once your parts are in, do your happy dance because we will call you to set up your appointment! We'll do our best to accommodate your schedule and ours. Certain times of year are busier than others. We know you have been waiting to get this fixed and we are on it! 3. This is an estimate! Not a quote. We do our best to adhere to our estimates. However, should unforeseen issues arise: Whoa! Anytime, what unforeseen issues can happen? We are glad you asked; A. Nuts and bolts are not always cooperative and have to be cut, drilled, etc. B. Sometimes appliances are not in the easiest location to service. C. When dealing with computerized electronics we can have other issues, we don't like it but it happens. That being said, if MORE or LESS labor time or part(s) are needed, we will adjust the estimate according to the costs for the additional labor and part(s). Hello ********** this is the estimate for your ** dryer. The cost for the part(s) is $200.00 and labor is $150.00, which comes to a total of $350.00 plus taxes and fees. Please be advised there will be a fuel charge of $5.00 in addition to the repair costs due to the recent influx in gas prices. The fuel charge will be in effect until further notice and will be collected at every service appointment. **BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE** In case you scanned through the above email here is a reminder: 1. say yes or no to the estimate. 2. Call the office with payment information. 3. We order your parts. 4. We call you when they come in.
