  In January 2017, BBB began
  reviewing this business to understand the corporate structure and business
  practices to a greater degree.  The
  products and services being offered to consumers, especially with regard to
  those segments of the business involved with rapidly building and repairing the
  credit of an individual or business, demand unique consideration and
  understanding due to the significant regulations imposed on the industry.  Some services, particularly those services
  dealing with credit repair, are regulated by law, such as the Credit Repair
  Organizations Act where the business should not be receiving payment before the
  services are provided.

  Following extensive discussions, BBB is working with
  the business to address and close several complaints received during the latter
  half of 2017 into 2018 from consumers who claim to have paid money for services
  that were not ultimately provided.  Information to determine the accuracy of such claims is being sought in
  connection with ongoing interactions with the business.  The business maintains a “no refund” policy, and
  the company attempts to engage with consumers to continue to provide the
  original services.  Because of the
  initial quantity of complaints over a relatively short period, BBB started
  exploring the consumer allegations with governmental agencies, both state and
  federal.  There have not been any
  governmental actions taken at this juncture.

  Consumers are urged to
  conduct research on the laws that may regulate the services they seek, and to
  carefully review the terms and conditions for any contracts they are planning
  to sign.  Where applicable, BBB is available to provide assistance and
  answer questions, or give direction to resources that may be better able to
  help.
