In November 2023, BBB contacted Unike Nutra regarding claims in its advertising.

Its website's shopping cart pages include the statement "100% satisfaction guarantee."  Its FAQ page states "Our return policy allows for returns within 30 days of delivery."  However, its Terms and Conditions page states, under Returns and Refunds, "Since the nature of our products [is] edible Vitamins and Dietary Supplements, there are no returns, exchanges and or refunds." Under the BBB Code of Advertising, when using the term guarantee, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details can be seen prior to sale. These details must disclose any material limitations on the guarantee.  Advertisers should only use “satisfaction guarantee,” or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request.  Since its policy does not include a full refund, BBB suggested that the business discontinue the use of "100% satisfaction guarantee."  The business did not remove the satisfaction guarantee statement or clearly disclose that it does not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns.

Its website includes the following statements:
"Swiss Energy dietary supplements are the nutritional supplements manufactured from the branded and clinically-approved ingredients." 
"All our products have passed rigorous testing, incorporating multiple factors to assess effectiveness"
"Our innovative and clinically proven supplements comply with, or even exceed, the strict standards of the industry."
The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.  The business did not provide the requested substantiation for these claims. 

Its website and other online advertising include many health benefit claims related to its products and product ingredients.  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal and therapeutic claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support these claims.  Below is a sample of some of the health benefit claims in its advertising.

The business informed BBB that it is only the distributor of the products on its website and has no control over the claims made by the manufacturer. However, BBB informed the business that advertisers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of claims made by made by any manufacturer of the products that they are selling on their website, particularly in the case of health benefit claims. The business did not provide substantiation or remove or modify these claims.
