    Extremely disappointing experience with Mandy Management. I’ve endured persistent noise issues in my apartment for months, reported it multiple times, and received either no response or dismissive replies. Even after their own supervisor confirmed the problem, management failed to take any action. Complete disregard for tenant well-being and legal responsibilities. Unprofessional and unresponsive.

    Refuses to respond to emails. Makes promises they can't deliver. Basically just want your money. They provide no customer service and do not care about the safety or comfort of their residents. Basically once you sign your lease you are on your own.

    I moved into this apartment managed by Mandy management in July of 2023. The place was trashed by the first floor tenant, Mandy management has been aware of this guy for months and nothing has happened. The police have been called atleast 6 times due to harassment, threatening physical violence, noise complaints, smoking cigarettes in the hall way outside of our doors, parking up to 7 cars in our parking lot (lease says 1 car), they block the driveway so no one can leave, writing on the basement walls, following you if you leave your apartment, and on top of this he has been seen multiple times with a firearm. There is nearly every rule in the lease broken by this guy. Yako personally has told me that this tenant has a history of aggression and there’s nothing to be done.
    Moving on to other problems. It has taken months upon months to get any sort of maintenance request dealt with. Since the day I moved in nearly every smoke detector is constantly beeping. There has been no lights in the stair case for multiple months resulting in me falling down the stairs multiple times injuring myself. There is even a hole in our wall to the outside world making it impossible to keep our house warm. The parking lot behind the house is so poorly maintained my car has been damaged due to multiple feet sized potholes.
    Now we are on to winter Mandy management has not plowed, salted or done anything to make the driveway safe. I have fallen 4-5 times, my second floor neighbor has fallen and has been seriously hurt. Multiple cars have gotten stuck. It is a sheet of ice.
    As of today 1/21/24 I had to call 911 and evacuate the property due to a carbon monoxide leak. Me and my girlfriend have been experiencing symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. And the fire department said the basement had dangerous levels of carbon monoxide.

    I left this review on google, spreading the word however I can here because our experience has been awful.
    If I could give 0 stars I would. Our experience renting from Mandy Management has been terrible, and we've only been renting since July 2023. Our requests have been ignored numerous times, we are continually harassed by our first floor neighbor who leaves cryptic handwritten notes on the wall of the basement, we were left without a trash bin for the first 3 weeks of living here, there is no light in our stairwell on the 3rd floor, the basement is absolutely trashed, there was loose trash and bottles/cans/litter from first floor outside, the driveway was full of gaping potholes and loose gravel and damaged our cars.... that's just scratching the surface. Perhaps this review will grab their attention to some of these issues, considering the landlord and office manager are incredibly hard to get in touch with.
    Mandy Management asked me to update this review to reflect a more positive experience and protect their reputation, but I feel that would be incredibly dishonest and I am truly baffled they would even ask me to do such a thing. I do however have a few additions that just reinforce my 0-1 star review and opinions:
    I sent a multi-page letter of concerns to their office, and only AFTER I posted this review and paid my rent for this month did I receive a response. Only a phone call though, still nothing in writing from Mandy. After all of our complaints, the only fix they made was to the lights in our stairwell.
    Additionally, it recently snowed/rained and our driveway and parking area have gone untouched by the property owners - again, zero concern for the safety of tenants. It is a massive sheet of ice. Mandy Management has been made aware that multiple tenants/neighbors have slipped and gotten hurt. I also got stuck trying to drive into the parking area and my neighbor had to push my car to help me get out. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE.

    Terrible customer service, hides behind realtors, lies and commits several health, safety, and ADA violations. Hold time on the phone is forever, rude staff in person. Terrible slum lords.

    Would give 0 stars. The building is a dump for starters- oh and their customer service?? What customer service! They don’t care about their tenants- they also have tenants cars towed who pay to live in the building but turn a blind eye to tenants who drug deal and have random people sitting in the parking lot waiting for the tenant to give them their drugs- all day and night long- somehow those cars can sit there for hours with no issues? It’s actually hilarious. Then when you speak to Mandy management manager about the drug issues they change the subject and make it obvious that they don’t care. Bottom line, they just want money and DO NOT care about their tenants. Do yourselves a favor and find literally any other company to rent from. You’ll save yourselves a lot of headaches and issues. I can’t wait for my 1 year lease to be up so I never have to pay them a dime again. There’s a reason that Mandy management had soooo many bad reviews online- they aren’t there for no reason. Remember that.

    They put me through app fee and me going back and forth to the city of New haven only to deny my appreciation then not tell me why? They have all my info and my family's info .I paid the fee and then they deny it have my info they can do whatever they want with it and I wouldn't know people sell information they could tell me why I wouldn't get appreciation b4 I pay fee and do appreciation process im on section 8 and it was expensive to give money travel back and forth to try to get place only to be denied and not told why they have my bank info ,work info, ppl sell that can't they be investigated

    Please do not ever move in their apartments. They do not respect your rights as a tenant and much less care about you having issues with other tenants and problems with the buildings. Inattentive, Unprofessional, and Unhelpful. They will not mediate issues with other tenants. Will not transfer you to different unit once your family composition changes. Work orders are repaired in the cheapest way possible. I have spoken to manager directly Yako M* and I have been told basically hey do not get involved in tenant matters. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR RENT BEING PAID!
