Hello, My name is ******* ***** and I have been receiving medical health services from Dr. **** ******* for the past 1-2 years. My complaint is not focused on her; **** ******* is such a wonderful health care provider and I could never say anything wrong against her character. I am explicitly accusing ******* ******* on grounds of negligence, disrespect, and nepotism. On Monday, September 19th (A1 picture), I received an email from ******* informing me that I still owed $3392.23 for a host of appointments and *********** ******** treatments. During my ******** treatments, which probably totaled ~$8000, I was constantly told over and over that my treatment was covered by ******, These treatments happened in May and now ******* had decided to apply retroactive debt on the count of missing checks. He was convinced that independence had sent me the checks. However, this is factually wrong on many accounts. First of all, I believe ******* wrongly charged ***** (my Medicaid insurance) when the checks didn't arrive. That is why ***** did the original audit. My mother spent three hours on the phone with ****** **** to investigate the location of the checks. It turns out that independence had wrongly sent the checks to **** ******* in ********. This was a complete surprise to us, but not for *******. Upon contacting ******* about the issue, ******* replied (A2) by saying he had followed this lead months ago. Yet, upon finding this out, he decided not to pursue that error but to bill me directly. He pushed the blame and work onto us due to his own procrastination and incompetence. I won't play this card too much but I must bring it up. I suffer from clinical depression and upon receiving this email I entered a panic attack. Here was my heat-of-the-moment response. I cried for a few hours before falling asleep and I even was crying on the drive to work. I have been stonewalled at every opportunity. I've called the office 50+ times and tried through other means.
