      We had a fence put in in July 2023. Six months after installation, improper installation caused the fence the blow backwards causing the connections to snap and breaking the entire gate. The gate no longer opens or closes. We immediately reached out via phone, leaving ten voice mails, and followed up with 5 emails over the next month. They were completely unresponsive to all outreach. Then I went in person to speak with someone, in which they said the owner reach out to set up a time to come look. No one came for 3 months. During the 3 months, I continued to call on a weekly basis, again with not one response. Finally in June, someone showed up and confirmed that the fence was installed improperly and someone would fix it soon. A few weeks went by and we heard nothing. The day after our one year warranty ended, someone called and said they can replace the fence but we are a day out of warranty so it would cost $1200 to fix. We did not accept that, as we have been trying to get ahold of them for 4 months with zero responses on their end. We continued to call back to try to get ahold of the owner to discuss the situation and get the gate replaced for free since it was covered under our warranty when we originally called and due to it being an error in their installation. We have been continuing to call over 30 times and leave voice mails with no responses. We simply want the fence gate replaced in a timely manner. It is unacceptable for this to be ongoing for this long with zero communication.

      The company has still not reached out to us to rectify the situation or schedule an appointment. They just keep sending an automatic email asking us to sign a contract for $500 replacement. This is what we said we will not do and asked to be contacted by the owner. Now, 8/19 that contract says it has been voided/complete and states that Mark, the owner, informed that the job is complete. The job is not complete. Nobody has called or been to our property since this complaint was filed.

      I chose Discount Fencing in august 2023 with the expectation of receiving a professional installation of a fence in my backyard, but unfortunately, that has not been the case.
      There are numerous issues with both gates installed. Despite numerous calls, I have not received any response from the company. This lack of communication is concerning, especially after having invested over $8,000 in their services.
      One of the main issues is the front gate. Unlike other fences I've observed in my neighborhood, the post on my gate is prominently visible, which detracts from the overall aesthetic and appears unprofessional.
      Given the significant amount I've paid to the company, I believe it's only fair to expect the work to be carried out to a high standard. I kindly request that they address this matter promptly by fixing the issues with the gates. It's essential for both customer satisfaction and the reputation of their business.

      i PURCHASED THIS FENCE IN OCT/NOV OF 2021 AND WHEN IT WAS PUT IN THERE WERE MINOR ISSUES AND MARK AND ERIC (OWNERS) HAD THEM REPAIRED, HOWEVER LAST WEEK I REMOVED A HEDGE THAT SITS IN FRONT OF THE FENCE BUT DOESN'T LAY OR TOUCH THE FENCE, AND THE POST WAS CRACKED. I SENT AN EMAIL TO THE COMPANY AND WAS ASKED TO SEND PICTURES, WHICH I DID. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD GET AN ESTIMATE OF THE DAMAGES, I ADVISED THIS IS A MATERIAL ISSUE NOT DAMAGES CAUSED BY MYSELF. AND I DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING FOR ABOUT ANOTHER 4 DAYS SO I SENT ANOTHER EMAIL TODAY 11/10/2022 AND CALLED AND S/W PETER WHO TOLD ME THAT THERE WOULD BE AN ESTIMATE SENT OUT AND WE COULD HIRE THEM TO REPAIR THE ISSUES. I ADVISED THIS IS A MATERIAL MATTER NOT A DAMAGE CAUSED BY ME ( THE CRACK IN THE POST). HE WAS A BIT ABRUPT SAID HE HEARD ME AND I COULD HIRE THEM OR NOT. ADVISED ME TO HAVE A GOOD DAY AND HUNG UP.
      I SENT HIM AN EMAIL ASKING IF THEY WERE GOING TO HONOR THE 1 YEAR WARRANTY BUT HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING FROM THEM, SO I AM SENDING A REQUST FOR HELP FROM BBB.

      This company did work for me - a new fence - in May. The cost was $3,000 t. There are a couple of issues which need to be redone. I have been calling them for the past two months and have had NO response. I believe they are still in business but have moved. I would like some help in getting them to correct the issues which remain.
