JTN Electric was hired for electrical work at *** ********* *** ********** ** ****** They had 2 jobs quoted to us in Nov., Job#1 to update the knob & tube to 200 AMP panel along with some electrical installation items ($7231.80) and Job #2 to install electric baseboard heaters ($3095.42). First payment ($3000) was on 11/15 to start the work, and then a 2nd payment of $4231.80 was made on 11/30/21. The technician Andrew did majority of the work for the updated panel and other misc. installs but did not finish items on Job#1, and install the baseboard heaters. Andrew was then pulled from the job. Joe told us that we need to make the final payment since the baseboards were installed. We told him the job was not done, but he insisted we make the final payment. We paid JTN electric the final payment $3095.42 on 1/4/22 with reassurance that Andrew would be back to finish up the job of 200AMP service panel (some breakers missing, panel to be labeled, sconces to installed, fire detector to be installed). We called and texted Joe numerous times beginning of May, he finally responded and said the work was completed. We told Joe that he knows it's not done, and to talk to his technician. We found out Andrew was no longer with the company. After numerous calls, texts, and threat of legal action, Joe finally agrees to send tech, Vinnie, to complete the job. Vinnie was no show on 5/9. Vinnie & another tech did some work on 5/26/22. Property manager, Paul, was there and noted that light and breaker issues, and told them to make sure to correct it before he left. Joe was present during that time. When we went to the property on 6/8, we found that the breakers zapped/sparked when turned on, light in kitchen did not work, and water pump did not work. These items were functional before Vinnie/JTN worked on it 5/26. We reached out to Joe 6/9, but his response is the job is complete, refusing to do any more. Job is left incomplete and unsafe.
